That’s because if they get too many objections they’ll have to address it further.

So in the legal world what does this mean?

Welcome @Robert_M3!

I heard over 50k comments received and people phoning congressmen, White House, etc.

Contacting certain congressmen/women is effective. See Congressman Dan Crenshaws response here.

We need more 2A advocates in office, and less big spenders too.

No, it is because they want to wait for a friendlier political climate for this kind of action.

A small victory but still a victory. We will need to rely heavily on this community and USCCA to ensure we are informed in a timely manner the madness that we all know will begin in a Biden (or should I say Harris) administration. They will be unrelenting and we must push back and act accordingly.

I did respond at regulations.gov on this subject this morning and they still took my comment. So it is still open for more people to respond.

Thanks for stepping up and glad to have you here :+1:

I hope Crenshaw runs for POTUS in 2024, he’s already got my vote. And not because of this AR Pistol issue, he’s just a straight-forward no bullshit, intelligent, and well spoken individual and we need more of that. Not to mention he’s former Special Forces and even looks like Solid Snake; we could use somebody that’s bad-ass in the WH.

Now we just need the bump stock ban rescinded.

Honestly I wouldn’t look at this as a victory but rather a delay. The head of the ATF I believe to be an Obama appointee. Once Biden / Harris take control they’ll work on this again and we won’t have the WH to write to for support.

Sounds like someone who won’t get nominated from either party.

Sadly you are probably right. I really want to see him run and hoping for Nikki Haley to get involved. She would be great and maybe the Republicans best hope for winning the next election.

I am not sure what is exciting about her, as far as electorate is concerned. Maybe I am just disappointed, but I see literally noone who both has a chance of winning ($$$ and connections) AND would excite the electorate.

She’s intelligent, well-spoken, and did a good job as ambassador. She also has that no bullshit attitude. I think in 2024 you’ll have women vote for Harris just because she’s a woman and no other reason. Nikki can challenge that point.

Well spoken about what points? Can you remember - I cannot.

I don’t think you give women enough credit. Harris stands for something (something that may horrify you, but something nonetheless). Trump stood for something, there is a video from 1985, his interview with Oprah, check it out. Haley - yawn.
