I don’t have a Garden
My ‘Soil’ is Dust, silt, sand, Lava Rock.
That is why I BUY ‘My Patriot Supply’ Short term shelf life.
Long term tastes really bad.
Short term is palatable, a lil hot sauce, Green Chili, Un-yons!
I won’t buy MRE’s (military) There’s 30 weight OIL in them.
Stocked up on Liquids
Water sources.
I know my weaknesses and strengths…I’m NO Gardner.
BUT my neighbor is, I’ll Protect HER! Fresh Veggie’s in return.

My soil is shyte too. Why I brought in 10 yards of compost and made raised beds. All my family and friends kept telling me; you’re doing it wrong, the plants won’t get enough sun blah blah blah. I’ve been handing out squash and lettuce for two weeks now to anybody that asks. Picked 4 tommy toe tomatoes a few minutes ago, nummy good. Peach trees (2) are looking very good this year. Brown rust took the last two harvests. I sprayed them down this year. Will do so again first of the month.
Next year I’ll be adding at least six more raised beds on the other side of the house. Ground is crap over there too. It’s funny, right now my compost pile is full of gourds and zucchini I didn’t plant. Eaten good in the neighborhood!
Thinking about having a little greenhouse built on the back side of the storage shed.

I know about the raised bed planting. I just can’t physically do it.
I am TRUSTING in this whole ‘THING’! to be Short lived.
We HAVE to stop these Evil Bestards from destroying our Farms and Livestock before we are truly screwed.
I hoping for short term conflict!

I’m close to being that but I’m fighting it the whole way. Between my heart and epilepsy…… never know what is going to happen from one moment to the next. I just say screw it and do it anyway.
Heart ablation is the planned course of action for the Afib that likes to rear its ugly head once in a while. Cardiologist says it’s a no brainer to have/get it done. Hopefully the cardiologist doing the ablation has enough of a brain to perform the surgery.

Or your Gun ! A kidd I met did that once, the First Sergeant made him attempt to get it!
He couldn’t. He tried so hard and got so smelly we felt bad for him. We purloined another Beretta and he showed the Top…he didn’t buy it one bit but figured someone liked the kid and would help him out of a jam he must be ok and deserved a Break. He did KP for like (6) months
with a smile on his face and that gun on his hip. Lesson Learned. Man, I miss the Military.
