People who would deny that police are the targets of those seeking violent overthrow claiming that “Oh, it did not happen. All the photos a videos are fakes.” are why police would die first in any American civil war. Just as Russian and Chinese revolutionaries revised their own histories to whitewash the fact that millions of Russians and Chinese were killed in their revolutions, Americans would whitewash killing of the very people they claim to support. An American civil war would not happen peacefully and would involve Americans killing Americans and then denying it afterwards as you seem to be trying to do with the events of Jan 6.

As expected, you missed the point entirely.
The police were not the target of the protesters on Jan. 6th.
As a matter of fact, there were NO deaths that day except for Ashli Babbett, who was murdered by a policeman in the capital building. Her crime? She was standing at a door with the glass broken out by others and apparently, the policeman standing roughly 30 feet away felt threatened. Wow.
The very idea that anyone with even half of a brain would believe that any of this ties into the narrative of a civil war is almost as troubling as the media promoting it.

True. In wars – especially civil wars and revolutions – the facts are whitewashed to avoid ugly truths (like Americans killing Americans, Russians killing Russians, Chinese killing Chinese, soldiers killing non-combatants, etc) and legitimize those who ultimately prevail. I fear that in today’s world we already see whitewashing of things like J6 in an effort to elevate one octogenarian or another to the Presidency and lots of missives about “fake news” are tossed about.
It’s also why concepts like due process are important as it is how disputes supposed to be resolved peacefully rather than by resorting to violence and killing. But then, in the world in which we live, many will claim that the entire judiciary is weaponized against them – all judges, juries and lawyers.

Yep, I google January 6 video and this is the first one that came up. Obviously, the Capitol Police welcomed protestors in and this was not a riot. You need to check your facts and parrot the clickbait being fed to you by those who want to make Trump President for life. Your historical revisionism is something the old Soviet Union dyed in the wool communists whitewashing the killings of the Stalinist era. I suspect we’ll see that distressing bit of history repeat itself.

That was the opening video of the Jan 6 hearing that featured video of what some claim to be the Capitol Police inviting people in. Of course, the Trumpanses will claim that stabbing a policeman with a flagpole, spraying them with bear spray, carrying clubs into the capitol or breaking out windows at the capitol are just “friendly” sightseers, I did not see that at any capitol sites when I lived in DC.

Show me the proof, because right now voters have found out theirs don’t count and most people elected to office could care less about the voters that put them there.
