US Electronic Laser Targets for indoor training. Target area is approximately 1 3/8" across, change blue to red then back again when hit with Laser. Counter at top for number of hits.
When hit it sounds like striking metal. I placed them in between 10ft to 30feet, different heights 3 to 6 feet. Did get off the X and move towards and back away practices.
Ok, what really sucked was my wife did better than I the first time we used these.
Works best with a Laser Bullet cartridge in your EDC. Most Laser training plastic/metal firearms the laser stays on as long as you keep the trigger pulled and if you move slightly the counter counts the hit as 2 or 3 hits.
I purchased a TitanX 701 Laser Training Pistol, which mimics a Glock 19. This laser trainer flashes only about 1/2 second when trigger is pulled. My Sirt laser stays on if you hold the trigger.
The TitanX also allows you to mount an optic with an RMR, RMS footprint. I mounted one of my extra Shield RMSW optic on the TitanX and it works great. Note: I had to purchase M3×0.5 machine screws to mount the optic, the screws were 8mm in length. I put 12lb. Torque on them.
Just today I was notified by email that TitanX is now making a specific optic for their trainer, not to be used on real firearms. I ordered one because you can turn it on/off and 10 brightness settings and it powers down after a few hours. My older Shield is on always and no brightness settings.
Oh yes, I’ve been hitting those small targets from all distances using the optic. 30+ feet hitting 19 out of 20 shots. High ready with finger along slide, then push out placing finger on trigger get sighted and fire, doing this each shot.
So far I’m happy with these targets and the TitanX.
