I helped start what we called an optimistic âDoomersâ prepping group. Actually had lunch today with a friend in this group. Working on a plan now for a group response to a âterrorâ event near any of our homes.
Questions someone legitimately responding to that question might ask:
- Do they have night vision or thermal?
- Do they have people up watching all night every night?
- How many friends do we have?
The test of a prepper is not how many badass weapons they brandish or camo they wear, but how well they do in the winter or without electricity for a couple months that pumps water from their well. Just wait a couple months for them to come to you to barter their hoard of gold coins or bullets for an egg or a bottle of water.
Theyâre just people, getting ready just in case. Itâs easy to act Baddass itâs tougher to be badddass when blood spills and people die.
Harder when you catch a baby toe on the door jam in the middle of the night when you have to pee.
Imagine just traveling up a road, and your buddy in front of you gets smoked the way they did in the video,
One of the things the group I do stuff with is we have a plan for a short term societal event, and a plan for a long term societal down event.
Some here donât have to Imagine. You should try it.
I donât see a good reason why.
âIâm a Doomer, Heâs a Doomer, Sheâs a Doomer wouldnât you like to be a Doomer too!
Be a Doomer,prep for the inevitable â
Prepping for the future or non future is a choice
I have no back lash to give here (especially you Zavier My Brother)
If thatâs how you wish to live I will honor the preppers choices.
Whatever floats yer boatâŠ
In some ways they may be right, I just canât live like that these days
Iâve âpulled backâ from the idiocy of all this but I canât go OFF THE GRID.
I like the Waffle House Waffleâs too much and do everything I can
to support them

Zavier, I like that optimistic Doomer though. I already do that,
My house is a little out of the ordinary w/ itâs Moat, Ally-gatorâs and
draw bridgeâŠso who am I to pass Judgement?
My little Adobe Castle is unusual with Foo-gas pods, Lights and retired Army issue sound blasters. (obviously an acquired taste)
The one thing I know for a fact is the local preppers here are well prepared for Winter
(or any conditions) . Out on the Mesa they built glass bottle, used tire Homes against a berm
that the Blasts (if occurred) would blown over them and not take them out. They are extremely
well outfitted and their water supply has hand pumps if the electrics go down, Their food supply is better than the local Grocery and they are âconnectedâ . There is a Bond there within their group that is unbreakable. A Brotherhood/Sisterhood that is unshakeable. I was asked to Join them years ago
and I politely declined but they have invited me back time and time again (Probably because I am good w/ electronics (self taught)) and have helped them expand their Security.
So to each his/her own, God Bless ALL AMERICANS and have a safe day
(editors note: This was a lot of tongue in cheek/sarc but the message is clear. This is AMERICA!
For now we are free to do what we want but that window may not be there for long if we keep letting them feed us BS 24/7 w/ these cockamamie schemes and NWO BS)

A good friend and mentor told me, âEveryone wants to be a gangster until gangster Sh1t start happening for real.â
Tough on YouTube doesnât mean much to meâŠ
The reality of a real SHTF scenario is that a highly mobile lone wolf with no scruples armed with a suppressed .22 pistol and a knife can quietly and swiftly take anything he wants or needs from anyone, anytime.
See, thatâs what gets all of us together. Not so much on your food/firearm/ammo or whatever prep you have. Itâs all about your knowledge. We can prep easily, what I canât prep is someone who will fit in, have knowledge of a field we donât already, and have the grit to stand when the " fit hits the shan".
One of our guys (didnât serve, but I would take him at my back over many of the guys who have served and were with me when the fecal matter hit the oscillating blade). Heâs a wiz with radios and logistics. We have another one he is just a farmer/butcher. Another is just random young dude_001, but our security specialist Force Recon Marine vouchs for him and thatâs enough for me. We kept our group small and tight knit. We may add another. Sh!ts getting real out there.
I donât have a lot of face to face IRL friends, but the few I do have. I would do anything for them.
âWe will never really know what we are capable of until the First Shots fired in anger are directed at YOU!â
My Brother Gen. William âBillâ Garrison.
He said that word for word to the young Rangers before their First Baptism of fire.

I like raw meat, but if you mean the running and chasing to get it - yes, that is the lion stuff I canât do anymore. I thought that was one of the reasons we carried? Lions canât do thatâŠ
Iâve seen many strong talented capable fighters, train like crazy. Terror in the sparing ring. Get in the cage, get rocked one time and go fetal. Iâm not knocking them, I donât knock anyone that will get in the ring with another fighter, Iâm just saying, no matter how much you know, how much you train, how well you know your opponent, YOU DO NOT KNOW what youâll do until you see the âFlash Of Lightâ from the first real shot.
Very true, however, some of us have been tested and are confident in how we likely would react. I have fortunately not been in a life-threatening incident - as far as I am aware, but I have wrestled and been ârockedâ, and I have had incidents in real-life that ended without any physical altercation - just the suggestion of force against their threat of violence was enough to resolve the situation. I am, therefore, confident that if it were more serious, I would still have the fortitude to do whatever it takes. I have never been one to back down. Thankfully, in my experience, bullies are wimps, and those bigger guys feared getting hurt more than they wanted to win the fight.
