It took a while, but I finally found one: a Winchester Miroku 1892 in .357 with a 16-inch octagon barrel.
I wasn’t a fan of the buckhorn sights, and peep sights aren’t for me. I found out that Turnbull Restoration makes a Picatinny rail that fits an octagon barrel, so I gave that a try. A red dot looks a little goofy on a lever gun, but it works great—and it’s a hoot to shoot!
