Why do You Vote Democrat?

I can think of many republicans that are not doing the will of the people.
The majority of both sides are very bad at this point.
But boy, they’re making money hand over fist.

RINO essentially means “traitor” to me.

Yeah, but it doesn’t mean a damned thing to me. I never pledged allegiance to the GOP.

ALL I can say is that USCCA came through for me in my confrontation and was well worth the funds for the insurance, they were there the nett day with representation for me and saved me 3k for representation,so I am happy to have the coverage

“Why do You Vote Democrat?”
I’m not a Democrat, never voted for a Democrat.

Here’s my take:
The far left thinkers I know and associate with, some pretty much on a daily basis, REALLY BELIEVE what the left is saying.
They Believe more power and control in Government hands is better,
They Believe Trump is a Criminal,
They Believe Hilary is a saint,
They Believe Bernie is right.
They are convinced that the United States NEEDS millions of immigrants to survive.
They really Believe that gun control will control crime.

Those of us on the Right seem to forget, the left Believes they are as correct in their thinking as we do.

Whether you, individually, like or dislike the 2nd Amendment, it’s who you vote for that counts. If you vote for the Party that wants to take away your rights (and guns)… you are voting to do just that among all the other issues. If you’re voting Democrat, you should give up all your firearms and by all means, vote “D”.

Therein lies the mystery, and the rub.

If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain

Edmund Burke? Anselme Batbie? Victor Hugo? King Oscar II of Sweden? George Bernard Shaw? François Guizot? Jules Claretie? Georges Clemenceau? Benjamin Disraeli? Winston Churchill? Anonymous?

Hello and welcome @Crockett
I don’t believe any side of the isle even remembers that they work/represent the Nation and the American people. When voting goes back to paper ballot only, no mail-in, no early, no absentee, with honest electioneers then I might still have faith in our system.

Because a RINO is not a Republican, but a Socialist in disguise.

One-issue voter?

How about, if they could successfully take away 2A, what prevents them from getting rid of the rest? :man_shrugging:t4:

Just look at the rest of the world. Read history books.

Out of curiosity, what do you think our forefathers meant then?

In my eyes, they seem to have had a definite vision. Of all of the amendments. It is the only amendment that emphatically states “Shall Not Be Infringed”.

I am not being hostile or trying to start a fight. I respect your right to have whatever viewpoint you have. I am curious as to why l.

@Zavier_D This deviates from the original OP a bit, but it’s a fair question.

In the context of the times they meant what they said. It’s doubtful they could ever have imagined the power of the modern firearm (no more than they could comprehend walking on the moon). If they could have, I suspect they would have applied the same level of deliberation they used on the rest of the constitution and the 2nd amendment would have been written differently than it was. How different I can’t say. That would have been up to them.

Today’s democrats would have handed America and the world to NAZI’s and Imperial Japanese.

My father-in-law voted democrat because “I’ve always voted democrat and I’m not going to change now.”

A friend’s father, who recently died, said “I was born a democrat, I’ll die a democrat”.

I’m afraid my question may have been missed in the shuffle of quick replies:

What gun control policies are you referring to that keep our community safer?
