What's the difference between .45 ACP and .45 Auto?

This is presumably .45 Colt, not .45 Auto. If James Arness is biting down on a .45 ACP, they must have had continuity problems with that episode. Or maybe you were thinking of the other Matt Dillon — did he have another Doc Adams? That still seems like it would be a continuity issue.

I’ll ask Milburn Stone next time I see him. He seems to know a lot about these things. :innocent:

A S&W Model1917 is what all S&W Model 10 revolvers want to be when they grow up

No body ever named a cheap malt liquor in honor of the 10mm.
Just sayin’

As if that wasn’t confusing enough, you’ve got 9mm, 9x19, 9mm NATO, 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum

Miss Kitty had HIV/AIDS.

It’s not a party until the Schofield gets here.

How about 9 mm Kurz, 9 X 18, 9mm Makarov, 9 X 21, 9 mm Largo too. .38 Super and .38 ACP. .45 GAP too. I know 1 is obsolete, but it really gets crazy as far as calibers. Bottom line, know your firearm and what to feed it.
