Having to lug around a 240M would make me feel YOUNGER! Guns are good for the Soul!, RECOIL is the Fountain of Youth!, I love the smell of Gunpowder….uh….ANYTIME!, My little storage room smells like ‘Hoppe’s’ ( VICTORY!) A Life LIVED is ‘BELT FED!’

That 240 is heavy but a damn fine improvement over the M60.
I had to swim with a 240E (kinda tells my age) I strapped it to a life preserver and pulled it behind me.
We ran thousands of rounds through it 1 day and very few malfunctions. Only ones were do to heat.

My bad it was 240G. Been almost 30 years and mind slipped on variant.
I was happy to send our M60’s to DRMO when we got the 240.
Sinking ship, that’s funny. My scrawny ass wasn’t even gonna try and swim with it. We were only recon, ill leave that crap for the seals
