What you think

Hello y’all. I’m thinking about getting rid of one of my toys. What you think I can sell my M&P M2.0 compact for? It has less than 500 shots the only reason I’m getting rid of it is because I is my P365XL is my EDC

In nearly all cases 1/2 of market value seems to be the case, at least around here.

Put it on gunbroker.com , you might get more than you paid for it :+1:

Just remember you will have your FFL to their FFL fees, gunbroker.com fees, and since I’ve never done it, possibly sales tax.

New one can be bought for $350.
If you go through local store, they may sell it for $300 and take 20% as fee.
If you go with private sell, I wouldn’t expect people to pay more than $250.

IMHO, leave the cannoli, keep the gun!

Hell, I am gonna go get one!

I bought an M&P 2.0 Full Size last year. I carried it for awhile, but have since retired it to the safe. I’ve considered selling it, but instead I’m going to turn it into a project gun. Im going to do some mods to it and turn it into a range toy.

M&Ps are great guns, but they are a really common gun to be traded in and most businesses can already sell the new models for pretty cheap.

Not very much, absent some weird circumstance like the ability to sell it, legally, into a market with restricted supply (like shipping a specific Gen 3 Glock to a buyer’s FFL in CA, or something).

Polymer frame striker fired CCW/Duty pistols are a dime a dozen, in most places the market is flooded with them, and prices are really competitive across the board.

If possible I’d recommend keeping it, legally gifting it to someone (check laws), or selling (check laws) local face to face for cash. Eating shipping or transfer fees will only make the relatively low sale value sting that much more if you don’t keep it

I absolutely wouldn’t sell it unless you have at least one other gun as an EDC-able backup to the 365…wouldn’t want to be in a position where something happening to one gun means you don’t have one you can carry any more

Since we’re bidding, I’ll go $200.

Keep it or gift it, if you can afford to.

Sell it then. I bought my new 2.0 45c for $410 shipped, way before bidenomics hit though…and then again,2 is 1, 1 is none, and who knows what the future will bring . Money is worth less every day, jus’ sayin’.

Maybe I should try to sell one of my M&Ps ,I’m just finicky with the idea of selling a gun online. I’d be more comfortable trading it into a shop, but then I’m not going to get as much :moneybag:.

Send it w/o the magazines, then say that you have those… J/K

I usually ask collectors like me or newbies. Honestly some want a broken in firearm. Plus with me they don’t pay taxes nor do they pay the Illinois fee. Some people don’t want to wait waiting period
