As most of you regulars know, I’m cheap…and I couldn’t’ care less about the ā€œnew modelā€ of most things.

What I’d really like to see if the bests of prior years comparisons. It is not possible for me to believe that these best of current year articles and videos are anything more than marketing.

Thoughts?

Curious, how many can you own in that state? Is there a limit or just the rostered items?

For CCW permit purposes, I can list three, carry two at a time (intelligent legislators agree with biology that we don’t grow a third arm).

As for purchases, I lost track and I don’t have the funds anyway for it to matter, but there is/was a limit of one new firearm a month.

I don’t think it applies to used firearms but I could be wrong.

You know the air smells differently when I cross stateline Nevada.

1 firearm or 1 transaction?

That’s the smell of freedom!

Prior to July 2021, Nevada required a list of CCW firearms. So glad that nonsense went away.

My NV permit has only stated ā€˜Handgun’ even prior to 2021, must be a Vegas thing.

It used to be five firearms, now down to three. Make it make sense

One firearm :man_shrugging:t4: which was friendly to my wallet.

Edit: google says, 1-in-30 Day Rule Struck Down:

California’s law (Penal Code 27535) limiting purchases of most firearms to one per 30 days is currently unenforceable due to federal court rulings.

I thought I had read that had been ruled unconstitutional!

I’m holding some hope that they’ll strike down these ā€œpermit to purchaseā€ laws like Colorado will have in effect come June.

@Karacal , do you have this ā€œpistolā€ in your rotation?

Caracal is a firearm manufacturer based in the United Arab Emirates, but in recent years, the company has taken steps to bring firearm production stateside under its Caracal USA subsidiary. The CMP9K is one of the models being produced at the company’s new factory located in Lewiston, Idaho. The design originates from a submachine gun developed to replace the aging stock of Heckler & Koch MP5s in UAE military service, and this semi-automatic-only, pistol variant offers several benefits to American firearm enthusiasts.

@Karacal actually never answered if he even liked it
