Seriously folks…dream gun? First, my shotgun experience is limited. Second, our daughter is shooting youth trap, 5 stand, and sporting clays. Third, I want to help her, instead of her coaching me. Fourth, I desire to shoot with her. Fifth, I shot 5 stand the other day, and hit 1 bird out of 50. The young score keeper said…you only hit one…i can take embarrassment well…
Therefore, we have a Benelli 12ga pump, that I cant cycle the slide quick enough. Borrowed an adopted sons 12ga semi. Semi and I could get along well. Shot some clays on our range the other night, I didn’t hit a single one, but our daughter had many dead birds.
Bottom line, I desire to stay in the 12 ga caliber, and somehow find the right scatter gun and training to hit some birds. High on my bucket list.

The only reason I am alive today is because of those God awful ugly beautiful beasts of mayhem and the National Guard pilots that fly them. It is a terrifying sight and sound to see a heard of those things coming in at dune top level blasting crap 300 yds to your front, I can only imagine the terror of those that were on the receiving end of it, there wasn’t much left of them.

I just want a nice 30-06 with a good scope. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Multi round magazine bolt action. Something I can reach out and touch a dear from a far.
