There are so many real options, but is there a gun you wish existed but doesn’t?
I wish S&W made a gun that could compete with the p365. (Small shield frame with high capacity).

I just wish I could have a p365 in California
Interesting question. For me the Hellcat’s mag capacity with the the XDs 3.3 inch barrel and slide, sitting on top of a Walther PPS M2 lower grip.
Oh yes please, a revolver
I am going to look at the Wather PK-380. Frankly, it is so close. I am satisfied with the 380acp as a cartridge. As it stands, the Browning 1911-380 remains my preferred carry pistol.
That said, the PK-380 was close. I like the paddle release, the hammer firing, and the DA/SA mechanism (yes, I also like my HK P30). That said, for getting it so close, they missed on some major points.
First, I am not as bothered by a pistol that uses a Schrader valve remover for a takedown tool. In fact, I think it rather sharp to have chosen a tool that is so commonly available. However, look at the grip, it really looks like they had first intended a double-stack magazine, then decided to go with a smaller capacity magazine too late in the design process to make any other changes.
The next excessive compromise came with the decision to not include a hammer dropping device; or a slide release for that matter. Finally, for a pistol so wide, there is little reason to not tap the slide to use some of the many red dot sights on the market.
In all, they came so close.
For a second one, I would like a colt 380 Government model with a grip safety.
A 1911 officers model framed pistol in 5.7 FN, semi stagger mag.

I wish S&W would honor their warranty.
That damn 5.7 is looking like it’s fixing to change the market on auto loaders.
Unfortunately it would have to be in the AMT AutoMag or LAR Grizzly platform as its so doggone long. IIRC it’s ~3/10" longer than the 10mm Auto. But MAN would that Kick butt.

A 1911 trigger, gun in .45 acp, that held 15+1, with a 4 inch barrel, and 1 inch thick.
Still waiting for a phaser with a heavy stun setting.
@45IPAC It’s made by Para Ordinance, I don’t recall their moniker for the Commander length. Granted the grip is a bit wider than 1" but for a semi stagger it’s as close as you can physically get. That said the Gen 1 Springfield XD Duty is pretty doggone close at 13 + 1 but without the trigger as it is striker fired.
Cheers,

They’re not? I sent in a M&P 15-22 in for warranty before. Bolt blew apart while I was bump firing it. They replaced it, even though noting the trigger was aftermarket.
Years later they sent me a headspace gauge and a letter saying my rifle might’ve been affected by a recall, and could potentially fire out of battery. Gauge checked out though.
Officer 1911 double stack with reversible mag release button.
What happened? They’ve been good to me, but I haven’t had anything super serious yet.
The Warthog. It’s been out of production for a while. I would like to try the Rock Island 3.10. The one inch wide part is the fantasy, since that’s single stack territory.
I wish there was a gun grip mold specifically fit for you. And a weight/strength distribution calculation that could propose sizes, lengths and calibers that best work with you. Like an extension from your body lol…
I thought this was in a different topic with my last response.
That would be really cool
I do not know why they haven’t come out with those yet!! I have mentioned that before myself.
I would like to have a Thompson .45 as a semi- auto. I am not asking much!
