What is the best firearm ever made?

We are all different and I am glad. I like the Sig Sauer P320 Compact, 9MM and FULL .357 Sig.
Sig Sauer P320’s have a NEW FCU. Never forget the Glock 26, 19 GEN5, and 29 (10MM). The Glocks
have your Performance Triggers also. Always learning and I have had a few years too.

Need a Moosburg 500 12 Gauge. 18" ,00 Buckshot.

I asked for people’s thoughts, and I promise you, I was sincere in my commits and questions.

THANK YOU!

The issue is that “best” is a highly subjective term. Best “for” or “of” what?

The original SIG P210 is one of the finest, most meticulously designed and manufactured guns in the World, but as much as I love them I have zero desire to own one because it has no room in my list of “wants”.

I own a 5 figure fully hand made true commercial German Mauser 98 Square Bridge magnum length action rifle in .375 H&H with a high percentage of deep relief hand engraving and a presentation grade stock. It is by far the finest (and most expensive) gun I own. And yet few here would probably appreciate it, forget even owning one, and you can’t, there is not another one like it in the world.

So “best” is truly a very personal view.

But I like this thread because I like seeing what’s in folks minds :bottle_with_popping_cork::clinking_glasses::united_states:

Any story behind it? Why did you acquire it?

Wife decided I needed a special birthday gift a few years back. Came from the Westley Richard’s Gallery and was shipped to my local Gander Mountain as my receiving FFL. Longest 2 days of my life.

I was supposed to go on an African buffalo hunt (has a buffalo engraved on it) which the gun was meant for, but the trip fell through. Now it waits for a re-scheduling

100%!!! Thank you for information. I pick and choose firearms that have performance and accuracy.
I am unable to buy one $3500 to $5000 firearm, which is Wilson Combat, but I researched 6 different
Brands of Rifles and Pistols (Both) and I grow with them and upgrade for performance and safety.

I am glad you collect firearms too; I have a long way to grow.

Sounds like you must have a game room too.

When the rifle got to GM the manager asked if they could make an announcement over the store PA system so folks could come by and see it. That was fun…

Here’s a few pictures that do NOT do the gun justice. So yeah, this is my “best” gun.

That’s a true work of art more than a rifle. It is to shooting what a '57 Ferrari Testarossa is to driving.

Thank you! Pretty proud of this one. AND the wife that gave it to me

In terms of the greatest impact they had, I would think the Pennsylvania long rifle in the mid-1700’s and then AK47.
