@Dawn, yep, I’m good with it - their gun, their rules. They want to protect both the shooter and the equipment. I think our local range it pretty typical on the safety and equipment rules, nothing outrageous.

Wish they would allow holster drawing & shooting. Currently civilians cannot practice this. There is only one indoor range close (25 miles) Also, the stall one rents has a counter top that is way too tall. Last but not least…I wish they would allow video recording, would be great for grip/shot training imo, one could take the video home and watch it & see what they are doing (whatever they’re interested in improving or change)

We are members of a pretty decent gun club. Indoor range with separate lanes for members. My wish list would be for more advanced training classes (they currently just offer basics for safety and CCP); a simulator would be great (our local Gander had one before they closed) and ability to practice with holster draw. There’s a new range opening in the next few months (72k sq ft) but their membership costs are really high…

No Dawn, looks like it’s open to the public. Checked out their class calendar - seems to be standard new shooter classes. I’ve heard they have a simulator but website doesn’t mention it. They should be open in the next few months so I’ll have to check them out…

My own.
I have both fifty acres with targets along trails and the two track road that runs through it and when I bought the land from the city they didn’t realize that they were selling me about a third of the municipal gun range. 
Due to that error, We have a standing agreement that as long as I have unquestioned, complete access to the municipal range and they carry the insurance, they get to use it free of charge and I don’t put a fence through it separating them from about a 100k in improvements the local club put in.
Throughout my military carreer and beyond I was the true incarnation of Forest Gump. I walked blindly into opportunities few people will ever have just out of being in the right place/right time, and pure luck.
