this is just an opinion on abortion… so to proceed… realizing most don’t want to hear it…

as it goes against many of the current common beliefs…

SO… IMHO…

there is a being waiting for conception to occur…

and that being immediately jumps into the flesh at that moment of conception…

WHY???

because it MUST do so because it is a long and tedious process to combine spirit/soul with flesh…

WHEN the above can be disproved I will think differently…

that said… I do NOT consider my opinion to be law!!!

nor do I believe that my opinion should be made law… after all it’s just my opinion…

Gods, I miss Dawn…

I bet we agree on a lot of stuff. I voted Republican my whole life until Trump. Just can’t do it. But in reality, it’s not really Trump. He is just a useful idiot. It is the machine behind him. I can’t get on board with the white christian nationalist movement and big corporate backing, and it’s attempt to control everyone. That’s not freedom. I am a white christian, but a lot of people are not and that’s just fine with me. Go do you own thing and don’t tell me what to do and I won’t tell you what to do.

This sentence will define this 2024 election. I think there will be a LOT of republican women that are going to vote for Harris because they don’t want their daughters to have less freedom than their mothers. And I would think fathers of daughters would feel the same way.

The republican platfom is not just to make abortion illegal nationally, but also make birth control illegal. Pull back on childcare tax breaks, headstart program, FMLA, anything that encourages or enables both parents to work. Women should be home raising kids - “family values” is the dogwhistle, this is what it means. Listen to what the candidates are saying, read Project 2025. It’s not being hidden.

You don’t really believe that, do you? Moving it to the states gives many options for people with a variety of beliefs…and doesn’t force anyone into anything. A giant step forward for the country.

Single topic voters are the worst. Eat their own kid if they win their one topic…

In my opinion what divides a nation is perspectives, goals , process

Perspectives are fine but what is the price of following a groups vision. Where do our tax dollars go in financing these visions , what impact will the process have on these majority ruled goals.

It may sound like a lot of rambling words but in layman’s terms I’m not very confident in this vision of a new America.

I think all people deserve the right to come into this country legally and to achieve the most from their legal efforts, but the entitlement attitude of give me, give me … is not an American attribute I can see as being normal.

I could go on but I wont.

This country is divided by 2 large groups of Americans, their not enemies but they have a whole different vision for this country.

Was this thread about birth control … This country has much bigger issues than a woman’s right to abort a baby at any given time of a pregnancy. here’s a concept, use protection or use birth control and if that fails let someone that loves babies adopt it. We have a lot of major issues that effect the entire nation so please think about that when voting.

I don’t have to “believe” it. It’s what Trump, the Supreme Court and the Project 2025 team are saying. There will be a national abortion ban under the Comstock act. Then funding will be removed from organizations that provide contraception unless they stop providing contraception support.

And I’m not a single issue voter. I merely pointing out why even more women will vote for Harris in November.

I think it’s too late.

Despite all evidence to the contrary? No way to argue, I guess. I love it when people conflate Trump and this 2025 plan.

If you look at voter dempgraphics, you see that Republican support is predominantly older white non-college educated men and to a lesser extent women. Kamala Harris’ chances in November could hinge on a women’s voting surge | Brookings This is a very large part of the population - but still needs help from other demographics to deliver a Republican president. Over time, more and more help has been needed (as they pass away an are replaced by younger voters) and it’s getting harder and harder to get. This is why a Republican president hasn’t won the national vote since GW II, barely. Any meaningful swing in older white women moving to Harris will be a disater for Republicans. And that is what has been happening in the last few weeks. Even in Florida, of all places.

So, as a Republican strategist, how do you bolster the older white vote? By diminishing the voting power of the other demographics, and by attempting to raise young white republican voters. The first part has been more obvious - making it harder to vote (voter ID, longer distances to travel, reduce inner city polling places and create longer voting lines, etc), which predominantly affect minority voters, restricting immigration, and by motivating older white voters to vote by creating fear and controversy tailored to this voting block. The second is a little more subtle - control the education system to re-emphasize Republican/Christian values. Moms for Liberty, school choice/vouchers, you know - grow the “seedcorn”.

What I find most ironic though is that by outlawing abortion, that will mostly affect low income groups, which tend to be minorities and tend to vote democratic, so this will exacerbate the demographics problem. In another 20 years, there will be a great influx of young minority voters to a demographic where white people have already become the minority.

The older voter has experienced more issues or should I say can see the bigger picture.

Car analogy … whats the point of buying a new car with no wheels.

This country needs movement to provide a strong and healthy outcome for all … young, old, white, brown and black.

What devides us is billionaire’s and the agenda they all share no matter what side they are on. They aren’t about to give up a penny for anything that doesn’t further their wealth or power. They will go to any length to keep or increase it. They fear us because we are armed and they are few in number. The easy way to reduce our numbers are to devide and conquer. If the civilians can be coerced into wholesale killing of each other we do the work for them. Makes an old Motorhead song come to mind…eat the rich.

What divides us? Stupidity divides us.

There are actually people in this Country with a “mindset” that it’s okay for Harris to become a presidential nominee WITHOUT BEING NOMINATED by the people’s vote, but rather INSTALLED by a select few in the upper echelons of government.

These makeshift Harris supporters don’t seem to have a clue that this has NEVER happened in the 248 year history of our Country for a REASON, but they are fine with it.

These are the same people who believe open borders are good for a Country, the media is our friend, big tech should be allowed to collude with government to suppress speech, this regime is making the Country stronger, and republicans will abolish abortion.

I have a problem with these people. They are either STUPID and should not be allowed to procreate, or they are enemies of the United States. CHANGE MY MIND.
