They do the same here even hours away in Northern AZ. Though it’s not nearly as bad as when you are surrounded by them in SoCal!
No offense @BeanCounter. There are plenty of decent drivers there too but you seem to have a disproportionately high percentage of unpredictably crazy drivers in your neck of the woods:crazy_face:

LOL driving in Nor-Cal, I would routinely remind my wife,
“we’re in [Stockton / Elk Grove] now”
then I check to ensure the dashcam’s working.
