You will find an abundance of information on USCCA’s websites apps:
The Protector Academy, and the Reciprocity Map and state laws sites is an excellent authoritative site for all information about the CCW process in your state and its laws and any other state you may visit to know their variations of their laws also.
Currently 29 states that have so called “Constitutional” Permitless Carry that they have enacted.
What states your state honor, and what states honor your state can also be found here.
You will want to check that with some frequency as those laws, and issues change frequently also.
Like the recent jump in the number of states having Permitless Carry has gone up.
Any restrictions placed by states beyond the Second Amendment detract from it being purely Constitutional, and they all have their own criteria for CCW, and what constitutes a prohibited 
person who may not get a CCW, or own, or be in possession of a firearm.
The first is their age limit which ranges from 18 to 21 years old; so if you are not yet 21 for instance, any other state whose limit is older than you, would be the first bit of data to to check, until you are 21.
Tennessee’s age limit is 18, we have eight different states that border us, not all are the same.
So, if going out of state you would check those states that you wish to visit.
We restrict/prohibit explosive ammunition.
A neighbor state restrictes/prohibits armor piercing ammunition.
We don’t limit ammunition capacity, others do.
So, to be in compliance wherever you go check that state’s laws and their Resiprocity with your home state; it’s a great and invaluable resource tool, free to download.
Also, do your own research on your state agency’s website that issues their version of CCW for their details, and procedures to follow.

Welcome, when you state that you are a strong supporter, which 2nd Amendment rights organizations do you pay dues on, just asking. I was supporting three, NRA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, and GOA, paying dues and other financial support as well. I since dropped the NRA because they absconded with a lot of member’s dues money and then failed to address their white crimes president enough in my book, so I stopped sending them money.
I have called a lot of friends out about carrying their “2-A” - water-rights-buckets, to anyone reading this, question:
Why is it that there are a reported 32% of American adults that state they own firearms, the current US population is about 340 million, the adult population is about 258 million, thus, 32% of that would be about 82.5 million, what, I wonder is the percentage of that 82.5 million adult gun owners who do financially support Gun Rights Organizations?
For those of you who actually do, no BS please, thank you for helping me carry the water for those gun-owning cheap skates.

I just dropped the NRA myself canceled the auto renewal. Called them to cancel before I could hang up the lady was asking me for 45.00 donation. Just waiting for my GOA membership packet to come.

Yes I’ve purchased a s&w Sd9, I’ve shot a m&p at the gun range for a course and liked the feel but I also know that every gun is different and need to get to the range and practice.
