Your right Kerry, they spend so much time trying to scam their way out of doing something, where if they just payed attention to what’s right, they would most likely be a fantastic human being. It’s become a pretty sad world, and a lot of people have their hand open for yet another freebie.
Here’s our last USPSA 3-Gun match, the first part is with my Remington 1100 tactical, the second part is with my AR-15, (one of my builds) there’s 10 targets and it’s 4 shots per target, the third part is with my M&P CORE in 9mm, it’s all tricked out and is my race gun in open division for USPSA, I shot this in I think 57 seconds and I shot it clean, no misses. A lot of folks were shooting in the 90 second and up range, I think I was just having a good day. Enjoy.
First time shooting at 25 meters with my FNS9C in a while… Not the best, but I was in the plate by the end. Here’s the FN I always talk about.
edit, the picture compressed to make it look like it was aiming at me, I don’t do that.
That’s true, and your right Dawn, I hate that phrase “shoot to kill”, it’s actually wrong to say it that way because it’s not what I would want. I will say it your way from now on, shooting to stop the threat is more like what’s in my heart to do. Thanks, I learned something today.
6 shots @ 100 yards, with my RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor.
@Steve-G if you don’t want your quarters send them to me.
Spent range time focusing on mag changes. I put a few rounds in mags to create more changes. Started getting tighter the more I practiced. All hit paper though. cardboard is just the backer that everyone uses
Last Wed. I went to the range to sight in a new red dot sight for my new AR-15. I had to put sights on the gun because it didn’t have any. I put fold down sights and sighted them in. And then I put on the red dot and sighted it in. Now I have both sighted in. And yes my AR-15 looks like it is backwards. It is for a left handed shooter which I’m one of. When I was at the range one of the RSO’s said he saw a lot of lefties shooting but I was the only one that had a gun for lefties. When I go to the range I have different targets that I can shoot. I have animals, bulls eye, and some political ones. And depending on how I feel when I go shooting I decide on which targets I’ll shoot. Some are just for fun as well.
Love the leftie AR!
I was excited when I got my Browning BPS. not having shells in the face is a glorious thing. Your AR is pretty awesome my friend!
Made it to the range before lunch today. Shot about 100 rounds of target, and a couple of mags of my self defense ammo.
1st pic was a Mozambique drill on cardboard. The model for size is a 5 foot 108 lb human. Yes, I employ my son to draw lines on old pizza boxes
The 2nd was a small silhouette target. All the extra holes are when I started multiple target drills
This was all at about 8 yards. Yes, I know it appears I was shooting low. The specs on the ammo say dead on at 25 yards, so, I’m ok with where I was hitting.
A fine way to recycle pizza boxes, I say
Nice
I’m thinking about squiring peasants for practice.
I did a tactical challenge at my gun club on Saturday. 5 pistol rounds at a 15 yard pistol target, then 20 AR rounds with 1 mag change and position change, then 5 more pistol rounds at a 15 yard target. It was fun.
That looks fun
I have a plastic trash can outside for keeping pizza boxes and paper bags. The boxes for targets, the paper sacks for use in a charcoal chimney.
If I don’t hit my target, I wasn’t aiming at it. Lol
Okay, now I can’t wait to go to the range this weekend!!
I’m gonna need a bigger target thrower.
May end up going for some range therapy tomorrow since I don’t have to work.
Took a new shooter for some practice. Didn’t get any pics of the targets but the watermelons really made a mess! No worries, the range smelled great while cleaning up all the debris.
