This weekend this baby will have a lot of fun, 7.5 inch, 300 AAC Blackout, 1:7 Twist.
I’m definitely going to practice some stuff I learned at the range on Friday.
This is one of the drills I do in a slightly different form… 3 4 5 7 yds, and not 3×5 but small rounds.
Going to the range today, gonna put some new ammo through the new Canik and see how it does.
Here’s my score for this drill today:
With the Ruger P89 9mm, one second shots, 5 each at 3,4 5,7,8 yds:
With the Canik TP9 9mm, same drill:
And no stovepipes. So I may have that worked out.
Changed my grip and stance recently and I’m still working out the adjustment, but it looks like its settling in.
Nice grouping Zee
Thank you @Raymond for the first time in a long time I’m starting to feel happy with my shooting. I was sick for a long time, years, and didn’t shoot… and when I resumed not only had I lost strength and fine motor control, but my vision had significantly changed. Add to that, when I went to the USCCA instructor training, they teach grip and stance different than I’ve been doing for the last 20 years… sooo… I’ve been relearning that, plus figuring out how to shoot when I cant get the sights in focus, plus trying to reclaim my motor skills. It has seriously SUCKED.
but today, the groups were good, and didn’t open up any out to 8 yds. YAY!!
I’m happy
