Seared into the Memory Bank FOREVER!
It’s where his other hand is that is more concerning. Did you see that, too? ![]()
What’s the deal with the G31 ? I can’t keep track of them, I have a G19 and love it and I have the G-42 .380 and I love it too. Wish I had the G-43 single stack thin 9 mm to carry and my son has one that I think it’s a 34 but I may be wrong cause it’s been years since I’ve seen it but it has this real long slotted slide ( compensated ) and barrel of course and that thing is like a carbine almost, I love it but couldn’t begin to carry it.
It’s the size of a 17 but is chambered for the 357 Sig. I don’t shoot it much. It hurts my hands/wrists. But it’ll stop anything on two feet or four feet. Dunno about quality body armor.
Oh OK , I never tried out the . 357 Sig but it sounds nice from what you say , and it’s got sun recoil ? Wow! It’s a little bottle neck cartridge isn’t it? I know it’s not new anymore and it’s been around at least 15 years now but I’m one of those guys for the last 25 or so years now that says “ ok enuf with the new cartridges man alive!” .I look at the .300 black out as a new one and it’s not much more than a spritzer .30-30 IMHO and just in my opinion and my opinion only I feel it’s not needed , face it there’s plenty of cartridges out already that go from 900 fps to 3,200 fps so why do they keep complcating things? I’ll tell you why for the bucks and I’m not talking about the four legged kind either. They are for selling the cartridges and what they are doing is just silly to me. Thank you for the info you gave me that I asked about.

I am a big advocate of the “common calibers”. ![]()
We agree on that for certain, if a body can’t find something to do what they want with all the calibers/ cartridges we already have then they might think about a sharpened stick geesh….
I mean the ol’e .30-06 is the cartridge that all other cartridges are judged by, I still automatically think when I hear of a new rifle cartridge “ what’s it like compared to the.30-06?” It’s just an automatic thought and probably always will be especially for us old schoolers. I mean in handgun Cala there’s the 9mm , .45 , .380 or Kurtz or short .38 spec. .357 mag (a fave of mine, if only the .30 carbine would have been chambered in it) , .44 mag. And others of course, And rifles I like the 06 .30-30 , .45-70 .308,.223 and many many others but those are my faves and I’m a big fan of the .22 mag to, I have many of them and something I find strange is when I was growing up the 16 gauge was the most popular shotgun cartridge not the 12 ga.
Me to… Imperial brand from Canada. ![]()
Yea Browning was the best weapon designer in the world hands down, Sam Colt was just a student compared to him and he invented a lot of actions he didn’t take or get credit for like the lever action first named the Volcanic Repeating rifle company then Oliver Winchester was a shirt maker and bought the company from him because he needed bundles of money to fight his patents and spent so much time in court doing that crap he said he’ll with this I want to make guns and moved his show to Belgium. Made a great handgun The Hi Power wich CZ turned into a double action and came the CZ 75.
Pun intended: Trumped-up charges without substance.
Law-fare Election interference to derail his campaign.
You’re right they will stop at nothing to derail him and what scares me is there’s finally possibly enuf to do it. They tell the border lizzards “ we will try to get you all to vote and when you do if you vote for “ HIM” he’s gonna send you back.
Can’t be Wisconsin. There isn’t any beer or cornhole boards.
The beer is in the jug in the foreground. The only cornhole boards they had back then were in the outhouse. ![]()
That’s why NATO uses standard ammunition calibers, more universally available ammunition regardless of service, or nation means it’s more readily available to all allies with sufficient supplies for all.
Too many different calibers could mean non availability of what you need due to shortages in too unique a caliber not as universally manufactured / available.
