The Democratic Presidential candidates have been remarkably consistent on this topic which is good because it shows their positions as actually being “irrational” (to quote Biden) when in the face on consistent statistics and anecdotal evidence they still refuse to change their positions even a little.
Again, I find it interesting with all those CCW holders in TX and yet we’re not having daily shootout between them with mass bystander casualties clearly shows the Dem’s argument doesn’t factually work.
Banning private home ownership? So, what will happen if you do not comply? My frat brother lives out in LA… I wonder how he feels about that?
Liberal professor said conservatives and Republicans could get a government owned apartment. If anyone doesn’t vote in November I’m going scream. I’m guessing they are not reporting it on the networks or CNN OR MSNBC yet.
I only wish they had to comply as well, and get rid of their private security and Secret Service so they could live like the rest of us… Of course that won’t happen…

As a general rule I agree with you @Robert8, but we saw how that turned out for VA. Don’t sleep on this group of candidates, they’ve been emboldened and think they have momentum to start making their goal of gun confiscation a reality.
@JamesR. I believe with the Trump Presidency he has waken up a sleeping giant and if people thought there was Shock and Awe during the first gulf war I’m saying they haven’t seen nothing yet. I think unless people are in a coma or drugged out on opioids people are not letting these politicians get away with nothing anymore

Not exactly related, but it reminded me of a story…
A long time ago I had a friend who’s daughter’s mother went to her reservation in the Black Hills to work out land rights when her father died. He went with her and learned about some of her ancestors. Her grandmother was named “kills on horse.”
Ronald Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Robert, that’s where we are today. We’re in that generation that is tenuously holding on. We’re at that tipping point, and one thing we’ve learned about progressives like Warren is that they’re willing to move the ball just a couple inches, shift that Overton window. I’m not convinced we’re holding politicians accountable yet.
This shouldn’t suprise anyone. The Democrats, as a party, are anti gun, anti free speech and anti Constitution. If you add all that up it equals being the anti American party. You cannot support freedom as we know it and vot Democrat.
@Paul1 I agree Paul, that’s why whether you own guns or don’t own guns is why Americans must remain vigilant about keeping up with politics and politicians. After Reagan said that nobody much cared because politicians, economic conditions, family duties, jobs and sometimes second and third jobs even. I mean unless you’re (you’re meaning everyone not you directly Paul) a political analyst and your job is keeping up with Washingtonians, or state politicians well; people have lives and responsibilities and in my opinion politicians for years have kept us busy with the The Other part. And lets face it listening to CSPAN will put you to sleep unless you’re a Parliamentary Procedure freak. So that in my opinion is how America got away from Americans and how politicians screwed us over for so many years until Trump came along in 2015 (as Candidate Trump and Champion of the people). Reagan maybe/possibly started it and maybe not; but Donald Trump is the dude that made us wake up from Comas.

I like the way this is phrased because it recognizes that the political class are “bought and paid for”. I believe that the basic premise is correct: If you listen to Trump, he is hitting many of the hot buttons of the electorate. But you have to listen to him and not be distracted by his showmanship and obnoxious behavior.
I like the list of 13 things that I, as a senior American citizen, want. Trump is at least talking about issues that most Americans are concerned about. My mantra about Trump is this: Truthfully, We are usually in agreement with most of what he says but wish someone else was saying it. We are offended by his brash manner. We are getting older and our tickers aren’t what they used to be, but what matters is that he covers most of the 13 things we as seniors want, at least I do for sure.

Jeff, you nailed it! Well done. I see better than I hear. And what I see are excellent results from Trump. He’s addressing root causes, quite unlike any other politician we’ve ever seen. I’m a results guy. One of the kindest, most moral Presidents we’ve ever had was Jimmy Carter. But he also sucked as a leader, and his results were poor.
But I’m still not convinced you and I are the majority. The cloud of Political Correctness looms over all of us. We must stay vigilant and driven.
