I am not sure about this one, but were you not the person that gave me hell for saying to Don, “You don’t even have a leg to stand on?” The difference in that case is I had no idea of his condition (we are not close, not someone I would desire to have a beer with), but you know better. Huge difference. Also, I was man enough to say sorry for using a common phrase. None of you are man enough to do the same. The picture was in poor taste. The fact you try to defend it is ridiculous and really sad. You should be ashamed of yourself for doing so.

It may not be a clear to someone who isn’t old enough to have gone through the racial tension in America when they were hanging dark skinned people for being dark skinned. We kill people in America to save lives not take them. We do that after a trial. Lynching (which the pic implies) is not something patriots do. It is not something responsibly armed Americans do. It is not something G-d fearing people do. Vengeance is mine says the Lord. “Vengeance is mine; I will repay,” says the Lord, is a powerful biblical phrase from Romans 12:19, originating in Deuteronomy 32:35, instructing believers not to seek personal revenge but to leave judgment and punishment to God’s ultimate justice, trusting Him to handle wrongdoings in His own time and way. No, I grew up in the 80s-90s and have never paid much attention to the color of someone’s skin, and it wasn’t until the tragedy of 9/11 that I even began to pay attention to someone’s religious beliefs.

The general is definitely racist as he/she/it sees racism in everything. Maybe there’s a lingering guilt there from growing up on a farm and watching his family exploit blacks and other minorities for cheap or free labor? :man_shrugging:

Back on topic, no, I don’t believe that the school should’ve raised a Somalian flag. The school isn’t the UN building or a place of international trade. It’s an AMERICAN educational facility, the only flag that should fly there is old glory!:united_states:

I hate to say this, but it needs saying.
This is going to be clear for generations to come, when black folks were stabbing and lighting young white women on fire and killing and raping for sport! The difference here is we all got to see it in technicolor!

There was ZERO implication of lynching. Nothing we have ever posted has EVER made even a hint of that. We have always stated that we want justice.

joker boy can’t even point to one lie I stated, but continues to claim that I do. Meanwhile all he/she/it does is lie and malign people here and claim it is righteous/iust based on some mistreatment he believes he suffers from an imaginary “cabal” headed by Don. That is about the most insane comment I have ever read.

I have tried to make peace with him, but he just laughs at that. I will state again, I am willing to make peace, but he will need to end his ill-will and maligning members here.

His negative attitude is inappropriate on this site and as a mature person. It also serves no purpose. That negatively makes the person with those views sicker - physically and mentally, and will shorten one’s life. I live with a positive attitude and try to believe the best in people until they prove that wrong.

It is survival. That is what good people do to convicted murderers. We as a society know if we can’t stop someone from murdering we have to kill them. We also know we don’t murder someone because they did something one didn’t like.
