USCCA Spam emails

I was interested to join USCCA but after I watched the secret video I now receive 3-5 email invites daily. I thought USCCA was a legit company but with the non stop spam it has changed my mind and I feel this is a sleazy company? I never had the worst companies send me so much spam. Its annoying because i became so numb i just delete them without every opening. If i did become a member its impossible to know what could be important vs spam. Is there anyway to stop this? I plan to give them one more week and if i continue to receive 3-5 emails daily I for sure will not be joining USCCA. Its blowing my mind I never experienced this much annoyance from any company, discussing.

Hi Michael!

I am sorry to hear that and I would be more than happy to get you unsubscribed from those emails. I am sending you a private message now to help!

Welcome to the Community.

Hmm, I’ve been a member this second time around since 2019, and I rarely get advertisements from the USCCA. I cannot think of why you would be getting so much. For the record, the USCCA is a legit company, and is a noteworthy training apparatus. And I would like to think that emails would not be the thing that would deter you from doing what you really want to do. By the same token, I do understand if you didn’t join if the emails are really taxing your patients. Best to you with your decision making. Be well and stay safe. I was also going to suggest that you contact the USCCA and see if something can be done about the SPAM, but you have a capable employee on the board that can do just that. Again, be well and stay safe.

Welcome to the family. What spam mails were you referring to brother. I have been with the community 3 years and member of the USCCA for the same amount of time. I haven’t received any spams unless this is something that just started. I am sure it’s a misunderstanding just reach out to the moderators they can help or technical support. I would hate to see you miss out on the training offered here and the knowledge you can gain with this community. Make a call they can straighten it out.

I suspect it was some other firearm site that is causing this. I get tons every day from bogus places. It wasn’t from USCCA.

As a member you log into your member dashboard on the website and opt in/out of categories of email.

Are you getting 3-5 emails every day all from the USCCA? None of those are from anyone different at all?

Are all 3-5 to your same email address?

What were the titles of the 10 you got the last 2-3 days?

Everybody emails me constantly. USCCA, Primary Arms, Midway, Target Sports, SGAmmo, everybody.

Several email me a lot more than USCCA and I’m opted in to everything

Not BS at alll. If a non-member responds to a USCCA Free Info ad like downloading a pamphlet, the USCCA sends multiple advertising email s every day. This happened to me a few years ago when I got one of the free online booklets. I also decided I did not want to be associated with such an overwhelming organization. Yes, I was able to unsubscribe, but the flood of advert mails left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Those in this thread who say they have not seen this are already members. If you want ot understand the experience, use an email address not linked to your USCCA membership and ask for one of the free download booklets.

BTW, Pro Tip: You can respond to USCCA emails and get a real person on the other end.

Thank you Craig :+1: that is good advice for the non-believers about how much propaganda USCCA is actually sending. I got so many spam emails from “Tim Schmidt” coming in every 2-3 hours. Just to see USCCA in my email box was making me sick. It just makes the organization look so cheap and unprofessional. I could easly put USCCA on my spam blocker but then if I wanted to join I would be missing important emails if they actually send any. After I opened the first 20+ of Tim Schmidt promo emails in the first week alone I became so numb and just auto delete everything coming from USCCA without looking at it.

Since this post one of the moderators helped me and removed me from the USCCA dreaded spam list and since yesterday so far I only received 1 x Schmidt email which is a huge relief compared to 6 per day every 2-3 hours. Hopefully they can fix that long term not to scare away other members that may have been considered joining. If an organization is good it will sell itself without the need to bombard you with endless annoying emails like some porn site. I would actually be embarrassed to recommend a friend to USCCA if they would be subject to the same email harassment as I received.

Ahhh… There is always a couple like you on every community this size.
I had a reason for saying what I did and it wasn’t because I didn’t think USCCA churns out spam.
If I am right I will let you I will let you know. Time will tell.

Did you say something? If so nobody was paying attention. What ever you may have said was probably picked up by the spam filter.

Obviously you were. But thanks for coming out of Mommy’s closet. Now I know I was right. :upside_down_face:
