The insurance was certainly a big factor to join and I am glad to have it. But I think the magazine is super great. It covers every possible topic, highlights all types of pistols, revolvers, rifles, holsters, knifes and many other items. Plus it in itself provides training for all aspects of self defense, how to avoid conflict if possible and how to be safe wherever you go (if possible). Got my concealed carry license in Jan. 2013. I believe it is even more important today to protect yourself. There will always be the ‘crazies’ out there like we have seen over the last couple of weeks.
Stay safe… remember, ‘Double Tap plus One’
Joining the USCCA had joint reasons for me. I needed education and training, but I also join for the liability insurance, but the question above only allowed for one choice. Education and training were important. There were other liability insurance options out there. But the community is important. All round the USCCA offered everything I was looking for in one place as a new firearms owner this was an awesome boost.
I joined for all the above ,the training ,the insurance, the laws and updates, the lawyer forums ,the magazine [all great articles and info] knowing someone has my back should I have a self-defense problem[I recommend USCCA to anybody who asks and also for the great giveaways, do respect and admire USCCA staff for all the hard work . My hats off to you. Thanks
Joined for the insurance. Enjoy the Concealed Carry Magazine, and, here of late, our range became an affiliate of USCCA. We are just now putting on classes sanctioned by USCCA.
Great package.

on the second question my answer is all the above with a insurance in case something crazy happens
Training ideas, Educational Resources and Self-Defense Liability Insurance.
When I first became aware of the USCCA, I read some of the information regarding the organization. The first draw was the legal assistance offered if I was to find myself involved in an incident that required using my weapon for self defense. I have enjoyed watching some of the training videos, and reading the articles. With many years of military training, the classes and training offered from the USCCA is really great for a transition of the reaction processes in case of an incident.
I mainly joined for the insurance. However the bonus of having the training and resources readily available is also awesome.
As a former (now retired) police officer, personal protection and safety has been a constant mind-set (for me) for decades. The USCCA offers a wonderful service as well as giving it’s members some “peace of mind” in the event that a critical incident occurs. I would not…“Will Not” ever be without this service and insurance. For me, it is not only valuable …but NECESSARY…for anyone who may have to use a firearm for self defense.
Joined for the insurance but have really enjoyed the training videos
I agree with your question. ‘They’ have been trying to ban our legal guns for years, and hopefully ‘they’ will continue to lose the fight.
Same age here… Stay safe!
For the peace of mind and knowing that I am covered by the insurance also the training including the videos… Knowing the USCCA has my back…
Training and insurance are the main reasons I joined USCCA. I thoroughly enjoy reading through the programs you have. Also, the scenarios are priceless. These things improves my confidence in handling a firearm, especially a hand gun. I need additional training and USCCA will help will be a significant contributor.
I came for the insurance, and then perceived great value from all the learning resources — articles, videos, community wisdom. Also hoped to win a great prize, of course.
That was good for a couple years, then the whole user front end changed from simple, direct, and clear into a hunt and click and scroll and fail mess. And the “community” seemed to turn toxic at the same time — so “Twitter/Facebook Gun Group”. I’m still here for the insurance, but don’t find the rest of the new USCCA worth the time and energy required to find the gold amidst the dross.
What a loss.
We joined primarily for the protection offered by the Elite membership. We have realized the importance of the protection. We appreciate the group experience and the comfort we know that you have our back.
I joined for the insurance, but I like the training and the community as well.
I am here for the Insurance as well as the training. I have a friend that recommended USCCA to me and after reading information about it, I was convinced that I needed to become a USCCA member. I have been watching the videos to get more educated on protecting myself and my family if the need should arise.
I became a member for training ides and l love being part of a community .Knowing there our more people out there that feel they have to protect there families gives you comfort…
I’ve been a USCCA member since June of 2005. Originally I joined for the educational materials & magazine. When the Self Defense Liability Insurance came along, I bought it, and that’s why we stay with the USCCA! Now, both my wife and I are members. Thanks USCCA!
I joined for the insurance but the training was a huge factor. I like supporting the cause as well.
