Yes, over the top, but far less extreme than at leaset thousands raging about Conservatives and wanting us all dead after Kirk was assassinated, and some still are calling for that.

Who is raging to kill conservatives? And do you think in your mind that those people whomever they are carry the weight of the President on Social Media?
Worse, as two tried to assassinate him, and one kill Kirk. They were/are all over the internet gloating over Kirk’s death and wanting more Conservatives murdered. Easy enough to find, if you want to find out.
It takes a real asshole to not mourn anyone’s passing. I am saddened that people have been driven to do things that should not be in a normal society. Over a made-up term to objectify people. This is also a sad day for people like Charily Kirk, who also spoke out about what they believed in. It is the same thing, but because you are blinded by your own ignorance, you will not see it.
I agree that one of the President’s less attractive qualities is his tendency to speak first and think later, rather more like an average person on social media rather than a politician. His not being a politician is, for me, one of his more attractive qualities, but it’s not without its downside.
He also displays a bit of ego-mania, which is quite common amongst high achievers and those who seek the pinnacle positions in politics, finance, industry, entertainment, etc. It’s part of what drives them to succeed.
To be clear, I find the President’s comment concerning these deaths to be insensitive and inappropriate.

I could understand Trump’s vexation----he’s a temperamental guy----but his response was unfortunate and in poor taste.
Trump should have cited Nick’s drug fueled insanity as a reason why we can’t allow cartels to flood the country with drugs that addict our sons and daughters.
He is the president of the US. This is not acceptable. You don’t get to shrug this off and say: he’s only human. If any democrat says the things Trump says, you would be flipping out.
The mainstream media would bury it. That’s how they do things.
