Traveling to Massachusetts and can't carry - self defense recommendations?

Hi Folks,

I have a Utah permit and 2 state permits - none of these are honored/reciprocated in Massachusetts.

I am still researching what is legally accepted to carry (pepper spray?), but I’m wondering if someone could help me narrow down my research with suggestions. I thought stun guns were a no-go, but as I said, the research is on going.

I’m open to all thoughts and suggestions, including regulations on blades, saps, or anything particularly creative yet still legal.

Thank you very much!

Thanks so much @OldGnome!! So stun guns are acceptable with an LTC (but, that’s a no for me). And pepper spray is fine.

And apparently the only knives allowed are butter knives… (kidding…sort of…).

Thanks again! This was incredibly helpful!

Carry a cane. Can’t deny you a medical device.

Krav Maga, that’s not a misspelling of “crave make America great again”, but it will keep you safe!

I recommend pepper gel instead of pepper spray - less problem with wind blowing it away or back on you.
