Hi all! Not sure if this is the right category for my question, but here goes!
I recently got a suppressor for my Walther PDP and am going to try it out at the range. It occurred to me - are you supposed to keep the thread protector on the barrel when shooting non-suppressed? I’ve read different opinions; most say yes and also say you should use an o-ring to keep the protector from loosening and potentially coming off. Curious if anyone has suggestions and if an o-ring is needed, any suggestions on what to get (my luck I’ll get the wrong one and it’ll melt
). Also, I’m assuming I’d need to take the o-ring off before cleaning the barrel/threads(?). Thx in advance for any suggestions!
