I was curious about what was restricted until you pay the CO government their fee. That’s quite a list of “prohibited” firearms. Good thing you picked up your .50 and Hi-point before Aug. 1st.
I didn’t read the entirety of the law, but if the specific brand / model is not listed does that make it available without the purchase permit?
Basically all semiautomatic firearms above .22 rimfire caliber now require a permit to purchase that’s separate from your hunters safety or concealed carry permit.
And I still have to wait 3 days before I can pick up the gun that the government so graciously allowed me to purchase. 
….meanwhile people in Nevada are walking out of Scheels with 5 guns in 30 minutes.
