The Left has figured out how to use repeated lies, half-truths and innuendo via a sympathetic media establishment to control the brains of people already softened by our government-controlled education system. There are huge voids in history education, civics instruction and a total lack of instruction in Critical Thinking … just to name a few,
When Critical Thinking is used repeatedly in the problem solving process, the inevitable result is “Common Sense”. Not only is this truth ignored but the very tools mentioned above that are necessary in order for that Critical Thinking to get the right result (if it was being taught) are not being provided as a foundation for clear thinking in this country.
These intentional omissions are purposefully implemented by their removal from the curriculum in order to control the last two generations of kids, creating “sheep” who are easily led and controlled through indoctrination. When 90+% of the media is “on the same page” and peer pressure from other non-thinkers is combined, that indoctrination is VERY effective. Finding those who can think for themselves is getting more rare so we few, from previous generations that can recognize the effects of the Josef Goebbels (Hitler’s minister of propaganda) philosophy of mind control, have a serious up-hill battle ahead of us to reverse this course.
As for leadership from the top, Trump is only one of very few who understands this problem … and is doing more than his share to counter it through the hiring and appointing of like-minded, intelligent people who are revealing how this corruption has infested our government bureaucracy and has been stealing the future of this country through waste, fraud, abuse and an unnecessarily bloated bureaucracy.
It’s not your son’s fault. It’s OUR fault for allowing this to happen!

In a sense, Robert1246, yes, … but it’s more than that. Since WW ll , we have transitioned from a patriarchal, one breadwinner society to the present state where it sometimes requires more than both husband and wife working to make a comfortable living. In a “free society” where the sky is the limit for any ambitious person, a situation like this is unnecessary and unforgivable. it would still be possible today except for two primary things:

The people have either forgotten or never learned what constituted the type of freedom the American colonists (our patriot founding fathers) fought a revolution to give us. They willed “the blessings of Liberty” to us in the preamble to the Constitution, a document which is based on the principles described in the first 2 paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence.

Under suspicious circumstances, our Congress supposedly passed the 16th Amendment to our Constitution in 1913 … which gave us the Income Tax and established the IRS. Prior to its passage, our Constitution forbade the imposition of “Direct Taxes” like the Income Tax, which is a levy upon your life. “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” - our three basic Human Rights (because every individual in the Family of Man was endowed with these basic Rights when the Creator created us (conception). These Rights are therefore unalienable (cannot be sold or bartered) because they are Acts of God).
“Pursuit of Happiness” means we can engage in any occupation or pursuit that pleases us - do anything we wish with our lives - as long as we DO NOT interfere with any OTHER individual’s Right to do whatever makes them happy with their life. Tolerance for the basic Rights of others through self-limiting behavior is what makes freedom work … without the interference of government. There can be no Rights without exercising responsibility for how those Rights are expressed. Proper exercise of your Rights cannot include to the detriment or injury of another individual.
But when we trusted government to educate our children, we forgot to pay attention to HOW they were educating them.

Sounds like an accurate assessment to me. What is done is done. We were taught how to fail. This is a new era. We have to grasp it with the knowledge that we have and proceed forward to MAGA. This time with the discipline and resilience we have gained by learning from our mistakes. It is what rocks me to sleep at night. It is what gets me out of bed in the morning.

If there was a battle to be fought, it was lost years ago. We lost the phuckin war. In order to revive this country, this nation, you need patriots! The only patriots I see are right here. Most of us are out of our prime and our numbers have dwindled.
We’re not getting back the country of mom’s apple pie and baseball. We’re in a battle against the Borg and resistance is futile! We’re not fighting back. If we were we wouldn’t be having this conversation!
Does anyone really think that a few arrests are going to bring our country back? Why hasn’t ICE been given the green light? Sending back a few thousand aliens out of 20 or so million, that’s the second biggest joke since some dick head fell UP a flight of stairs, not once, not twice but three phuckin times!
Furthermore bringing back known terrorists, cheering on cold blooded murderes and voting for the Shah of New York is anyone’s idea of bringing this country back to normal, is the third biggest joke! Probably the last joke!
I’ve done my part, I’ve served honorably, I brought up two princess warriors and two grandson gladiators. There is no one with my DNA that has TDS, anyone wishing to join my family is immediately converted, we flush that crap right out.

I’ll grant you we will be paying for the previous regime for at least the next ten years, but most of the country is being awakened. I’ll grant you it will be an uphill battle the whole time.
Yes, the country has been bloodied, and we are tired, but it’s still worth it to pursue the freedoms and liberty we hold dear.

I fought to get to where I am, ten more years, I’ll be lucky if I remember my name! I need it back right now. It can be done, no one has the balls.
Yeah, I’m angry. 70 phuckin years and it only took 1 major idiot and less than 4 years to phuck up an entire country.
That’s an amazing accomplishment for something with the IQ of a duck!
I want my time back. I was supposed to be enjoying my life and seeing my country, instead I’m looking over my shoulder 24/7. Why, because behind every blade of grass is a socialist, communist democrat lying in wait. And now they are voting them into power! Really, how do we approach that fight? How did we even let him run. Not to mention the traitors already in the HOUSE!

I don’t have the power or the stamina to over run 10’s of millions anymore, if I was 22 again, bring it on! I am very tired!
I am thankful that my children and grandchildren are grown and making their way. Of course they need our help, I’m just glad that today and for their tomorrows I’ve prepared!

Brings back a conversation I had with a high school principle…
One of my sons had been in a fight with another one of the students, claimed he had called a random gal the 'C’word. When I got there, I walked into her office, she points to a chair and “Sit” My Response “I’ll Stand”. Her eyes got big and a frail old woman dressed in a security uniform stepped into the room. As she’s telling me the story the other kids dad walks in, mad dogging my and stuff. After we find out what happened the other kids dad says to the principle “I’ll take care of this” Jr wasn’t to happy to see pops reaction, they left. As I stepped to the door the principle says “I guess your pretty proud to be raise violent vicious boy.”.
With all the control I could muster… “Ma’am I’m NOT raising boys, I’m raising MEN. Men that will stand up and go to the ground for whats right…”.
