My father raised me to not gloat and put down my opponents after a win. He would always say good game to the losers and immediately move on to his next challenge. But watching politics and sporting events, etc. these days I see that old time, real man values and civility are almost as extinct as dodo birds.
I just hope he and his administration spend more time governing for all the people than they do trolling, gloating and profiteering for themselves and their big money backers come January.

This whole participation trophy society is absolutely ridiculous. When I was a kid and we lost a game the other team celebrated loudly and our coach and my dad would just tell us how bad we sucked. The good, strong minded players got mad at themselves, put up with the humiliation and used it to fuel the desire to be better. The wimps got butt-hurt and quit, which helped the team get better.
