One huge problem with police training in USA is, believe it or not: Israel.
These days, many of our police officers are sent to train in Israel. They are trained the way IDF soldiers are trained to thump on Palestinians and others without remorse, conscience or any regard for the rights or safety of anyone but themselves. Firmly planted in their heads is the notion they have a right to beat you as they wish for whatever “reason” they wish.
Then these officers come home with this approach and attitude and take it out on us and train other cops to do it.
Hennepin County, MN has the most Israeli trained cops of any police department in America.
Its no wonder they are deemed the worst police department in America.
TRUTH! The ATF is only (12) WEEKS! and in that short period of time how much is Weapons Training? (Answer: NOT MUCH) they have to ‘train up’ on the Laws, weapons, defensive driving (hopefully) and so much they never become the ‘Special Agent’ they are supposed to be . Three months does not make a Tactical Warrior, I’m sorry but there it is. My Local Cops are USUALLY NOT from the Military anymore. (20) years ago they came straight from our Airbase (Kirtland) Already trained up. They fell in love with the Town/State and decided to make a difference, LIFE WAS GOOD! Not anymore.
When I do see a cop now (which is rare) the New one’s are obvious, they look SCARED Unsure of themselves, hands on the butts of their guns when they have to be. The Vet’s like the Military have had enough of Demoncrat Politics and wha you have. left is ball busters and wanna be’s.
I love Cops, I use to respect them. Now I am cautious.
I am my own FIRST RESPONDER.
Absolutely.
Dash cam on always and especially during ANY interaction with a cop.
And, no, you don’t have to stop filming the cop when if tells you to stop. Keep recording.
You can even record the cops in secret. Perfectly legal. This is how I do it. I have two small cameras right on the cop and he don’t even realize it. Plus, I start recording him on my phone. If the cop gets cute and decides to escalate, grab the phone and turn it off or delete the footage, as they often try to do, they are being recorded anyway and I’m just laughing at them.
Also, NEVER let a cop search your vehicle. If he asks permission, the answer is simply: “I do not consent to any searches.” If he starts a search anyway, yell at him, “You do not have permission to search the vehicle! Stop the search NOW!” Make sure all of it is heard on camera. Remember, your recording will be seen in court. A judge will hear your truth and the cop’s lies.
NEVER talk to cops. Immediately invoke your 5th Amendment Right to remain silent and your 6th Amendment right to an attorney. Then keep your trap shut and follow all lawful orders.
NEVER reach for anything. Your vehicle is clean and in perfect mechanical order. There is nothing a cop will see inside the car that will make the cop suspicious or make him run backwards away from it while drawing his pistol, screamimg, “Show me yer f#ckin’ hands NOW!” Your driver license, insurance, registration is neatly banded to your sun visor in front of you, is updated and you may give it to the cop upon request without having to reach for anything.
ALWAYS INVOKE YOUR RIGHTS
ALWAYS RECORD THE POLICE
Don’t confuse me for the other one.
Anyway, there’s a reason Hennepin county has a militant police department.
for a long time we called Minneapolis,
murderapolis. Minneapolis was the murder capital.
It’s right up there with the other big cities for crime rates.
Hennepin county gets an F grade means the rate of violent crime is much higher than the average US county. Hennepin County is in the 1st percentile for safety, meaning 99% of counties are safer and 1% of counties are more dangerous.
The rate of violent crime in Hennepin County is 6.051 per 1,000 residents during a standard year.
Your chance of being a victim of violent crime in Hennepin County 1 in 27 in the southeast neighborhoods.
your police force might be a little zealous, but it reflects the community you live in.
A lot of good officers left that area after George Floyd, I’ll give you that.
Ted makes a good point about shutting up and not being a fountain of information or coming down with a sudden case of diarrhea of the mouth and blurt out that you have a gun or you think your buddy has some cannabis in his pocket . that is, of course, if you have no obligation to inform.
You can be as friendly as you want, and the leo could be friendly back, but just remember he didn’t pull you over to become your new friend or to ask you about your day.
I have been stopped for just some questions about my truck. Driving back to Denver from wheeling the northern sand dunes… had to pee, stopped at a pull off and wandered into the brush.
Cop passed and saw my truck there with no doors on it,…. Later I caught up to him at the next town.
He said the stop was because of my cracked windshield (hit a low hanging branch I didn’t see).
Then we talked about all the mods I had done and how the weekend went aside from the window.
Cool dude. No tickets, even for clear violations.
Never say never!
Hennepin County has no good cops because there are no good cops in Hennepin County.
Never have been.
We called Minneapolis, Murderapolis even when I lived there way back in the 90s. That’s nothing new. We in fact coined the term in the 80s.
Right. The cops aren’t there to protect and serve, but to harm and kill. We’ve figured that out already. Thus, here I am, tearing down bad cops. I mean, after all, something’s got to be done. So first we’re trying to wake folks up and cops up to their nefarious ways. We’re also pushing for so-called “good cops” to step up to the plate and start stopping the bad ones instead of standing there with thumbs up butt. We’re going yo city council meetings, helping end cop careers and put them in prison, trying to teach cop departments the Bill of Rights, etc. Americans have been lazy and let these cops creep up on them. We need put them back in their proper place.
Lastly, if none of this works, we may have to go to that place we don’t want to start talking about. I know, it’s a terrible thought, but we gotta do what we gotta do.
Minneapolis, and for that matter, Minnesota in general, is a complete mess because of socialist police, socialist government, and more socialists and socialism.
I have no obligation to inform. But when they ask if I have any weapons, it’s, “I don’t answer questions.” Even though I have four permits not with me and no gun with me, no drugs, no nothing and it’s a bright and beautiful day.
“Why don’t you answer questions?”
“I don’t answer questions.”
“I know! You already said that! But why?”
“I don’t answer questions. Am I free to go or am I being detained?”
“You’re being detained. Is this your current address?”
“I don’t answer questions.”
“Ok, you are obligated to answer that.”
“I don’t answer questions.”
“Well, you’re a f#ckin’ smartass, arent ya?!” Cop’s getting hot and starting to sweat and mess himself.
“I don’t answer questions. I invoke my 5th Amendment Right to remain silent and my 6th Amendment Right to an attorney.”
“Soc’?”
“Soc’? What’s that?”
“Your social security number! You’re obligated to give me that, too.”
“Not at all. Am I free to go now?”
“No! You’re not free to go! Telephone number?”
“What is the nature of your inquiry?”
“What?!”
“What is the nature of your inquiry?”
“What does that mean?”
“Am I free to go or am I being detained?”
“Do you know how fast you were going?”
“It’s recorded on my cam.”
“OK, well, how fast were you going?”
“I don’t answer questions.”
“Ugh! D’uh’, jus’, jus’ sit there a minute and I’ll be right back!” Cop comes back. “‘K, lettin’ ya off with a warning this time.”
See what I mean?
Always put that copper in his place immediately, Right at the start take control of him and give him nothing so he’s got nothing and let him be on his way.
ALWAYS RECORD THE POLICE
ALWAYS KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT
Really? Then why are they always smiling and trying to be friendly and asking me about my day?
Are YOU messin’ with him?
I THINK YOU"RE MESSIN’ WITH HIM
I can almost FEEL your messin’ with him?

If I get stopped for running a red light I tell them I’ll stop twice at the next one. But seriously the last so many years I’ve gotten pulled over and it is very very seldom they take my liscense back to their car like they do and come back and say “ you’re in your 60s and have no police record? And hands my liscense back to me and sez “ get outta here “ and I drive off lol
I’m sixty, too. No record, no nothing. They don’t bother me much anymore either.
I was stopped by a police officer few years ago, he started by: You know you’re going few miles above the speed limit, but I really like you ask you about the lift kit, wheels and tires on your truck, we spend 15 minutes chatting until he was called on the radio and had to leave in a rush.
Well, since the Democrats/Liberals females got upset because the Democrats lost the election, didn’t upset females say they weren’t going to have sex for the next 4 years in protest?

Here is another reason I carry all the time. Cops are to slow to reach the true emergencies.
We as private citizens also have a duty to protect ourselves.
Yes, Actively invoke them/communicate as much

Perhaps that female officer hasn’t have sex for a long time, due to lost elections, of course, and she decided to shoot off somebody’s penis… but she was so impatient and she shot a little to early…
This also comes down to not all cops are gun people. Regardless, this should never happen…
I chatted with someone I know at a Sheriff’s Office a couple years ago and she stated that she had 4 new officers starting up and not one of them had fired a gun before.
That makes sense in preventing crime. They say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The thing is when you need the cure, you need the cure.
