They did not assault him. The video makes that quite evident. You have nothing to counter what the video makes quite clear - he assaulted the man with the shotgun. The only thing that we know for a fact is that a homicide occurred. Whether or not they will be convicted of murder has not been decided - the case has not even come to trial. They could readily be found not guilty as the video makes clear that it was self-defense. Unless you have some other evidence to support your claim, there is nothing left to discuss. As I stated, take your own advice, open your mind to reality, your feelings of what you believe happened is not reality - the video evidence makes it quite clear what did happen.
When the original topic was (posted May 7, 2020), there were multiple conflicting stories published. As it is now 8 months later, there are a lot more details and the conflicting stories have been sorted out a bit.
Some of the details are out now and some are most-likely being held back until trial (as is normal with a legal case).
As the case is still in the legal system and we do not have all of the details, this thread is closed. The legal results are open for discussion after the case is finished.
Everyone, please remember that over text in an online community where you don’t know anything about the other person it is easy to make assumptions by one comment.
