Have written letter opposing Chipman, Also Letters ATF against any reclassification, That was for Pistol braces and upper and lowers. If any have not gone the public comments sight. Need to go there

Different chapter, same book…a month back I was getting daily emails/texts about donating to the USCCA for a reciprocity bill. I went back and forth with Blumenthal a bit on this, and a little with Murphy…2 years ago iirc…we had gop house, senate, and cic…and it went nowhere. Now we have 21 constitutional carry states, meaning those w/o permits will find it even more difficult getting reciprocity…I also stayed up on this thanks to my support of goa and fpc.
Tim’s speech on this was brilliant, but Blumenthals response 2 years back actually kind of made sense, acknowledging the “well trained” portion of the 2a. I still support full reciprocity and constitutional carry, having faith that most will pursue training and hoping those that are total idiots in life only harm themselves.
I support and donate to goa and fpc for national 2a issues as this is their focus. NRA and USCCA, I maintain membership for their prime purposes. One size does not fit all.

I’m with you on reciprocity,and constitutional carry. I am also a believer in training and staying current on the laws. With all the CCWs in my family I try to set he example. My Kids being the great kids they are followed the example I set. But i also let them know that I don’t know it all. I tell them knowlege is the key GOA ,FPC , VCDL and Grassroots here.

Refers to the militia, not “the people”. “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state” says nothing about a requirement to be trained to exercise one’s RKBA. Secondly, the 2A does not grant us the RKBA, it guarantees it and protects it. This is not to say that those that possess firearms should be ignorant of safety rules, safe handling, and shooting proficiency. Too often we are fighting ourselves because we have been bit by the Leftist ideology of “gun control” and are unaware of its insidiousness poisoning of our thoughts and language/terminology.
We need to be mindful that our RKBA transcends government and the laws of Man - pre-existing both. It is part and parcel with our Natural Right of self-defense that is innate in all of nature.

Agreed and understood, just trying to see things through the eyes of my battle scarred Vietnam vet (note sarcasm) turned communist congresscritter Blumenthal, who is set on removing the rights of “the people”. I gave an inch…he took it, stuck to his script, and I realized it’s “game on” with him, Murphy, and most of Hartford.

Annnnnnd, just got another text from uscca- fsl, as I bet others did. “Sign your name” against chipman…so, wtf, already went through this with GOA months ago, but what the heck, I’ll sign another groups card, even if they’re late to the party…so I click…and, no, no signature spot, just boxes to click with different dollar amounts. Sorry, Tardy Boys, I already did my GOA thing again this morning, new issues that you’ll find out about probably in December 
. Maybe not a scam, but blocked now as spam.
Fwiw, the dollar days are over, the link started at $30 iirc, and went much higher from there. Who are these guys, and what have they done? GOA and FPC let me know what they’ve done.

USCCA-FSL looked interesting to me at first and was considering donating, but their recent approach on the Chipman thing turned me off. Why am I forced to “donate” anything to add my name to the list? Isn’t getting names and support more important? GOA and other orgs provide ways to take action and be counted without requiring money.

don’t give them your cell phone number I’ve also noticed some sites, can’t remember if USCCA does, have a check box to uncheck so you don’t get any messages. Might go take a look or remove your number
