I’ll never forget the images of people who decided to jump to their deaths rather than be eaten by the fire.
If that doesn’t fill you with horror & RAGE, nothing will.

Yes my friend Truth. ‘Falling man’ in particular left an impression on my soul.
The witnesses who were there and survived remember the Thuds and Crashes of the impacts of people who jumped. Some people don’t understand that this wasn’t just two buildings standing tall. It was a complex of (7) buildings with Lobbies, and walkways and Garages (vast) 100,000 people worked/ visited daily. It boggles my mind that the numbers weren’t worse. God was in play that fateful day.

I still wear my NYFD’s Father Mycal Judge bracelet every day. Reported first victim
of 9/11. Every once in a while I think put it away or wear something else. It just feels sacrilegious to NOT WEAR IT. He was killed by a ‘Jumper’ … so sad. sad day

I was in the air the day before for my Monday commute cross country north to South, then I watched seething in rage the whole thing on TV next morning, wondering if my brother-in-law who worked across the street and several friends who worked at the Exchange were still alive, after I told my whole office to go home and was at the airport on Thursday in an empty terminal waiting with the flight crew on standby (I was the ONLY passenger that showed up) waiting to see if I could hop on a flight that had not been cancelled yet to get back home.

It got cancelled, so I took my rental car and drove straight non-stop 19 hours from my work apartment in Miami to my home in New York and got to stop on a bridge on the NJ Turnpike with hundreds of other cars to get out and stare at the Manhattan skyline with the massive smoke columns still billowing into the sky.

And on the following Monday I flew out of Newark again back to Miami and the pilot did a slow turn so all 6 passengers in the plane could get a good long view of the piles of smoking rubble from the air.

I WILL NEVER forget…… :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I am kind of amazed at what we have gone through on the fateful day and then the years afterwards and even more dumbfounded @ the ‘reactions; of a lot of the Sheeple since then (like what? it happened? It’s no big deal—almost a get over it type of statement). The comments when I wear my Memorial Bracelet like’ Still?’ Yeah, Phucker, I want to say.
For better or worse I AM A NEW YORKER. Born and raised, for better or worse growing up in NYC shaped who I am today. You don’t lose 343 firedudes and almost 3,000 fellow New Yorkers and just shake that sh!t off eventually. I, and most others WHO ARE HUMAN! aren’t built that way (Thank God)
I was upset we were ATTACKED, I’m upset we lost all those Warriors fighting the enemy and we once again weren’t ALLOWED (once again) to finish the job. My family jumped through hoops trying to fined out if anyone we knew died. America was put of an uneasy hold… and people still said ‘What, me worry?’
And now all this sh!t is happening and these same folk’s say Orange Bad! Vote in the Camel… Pathetic.

I was working at the Rocky Flats facility on graveyards when it happened, I had literally just gone to bed, and my phone rang,…

Boss said everything was locked down and not to come in that night, possibly for a few days….

Confused I went downstairs to see my stepdad watching the news like a statue….

First thing I heard as I looked at the TV showing images of a smoking skyline was “it’s confirmed now, the second tower has fallen”

I may not be a New Yorker, but I will NEVER forget!

Brother-man, This has NEVER been exclusive to New Yorkers. No NY resident should
try and laud it over the rest of the country (I hope I didn’t make we had an exclusive
on the market for being attacked/devastated).
I hope I can explain it the way I want or mean to.
Just being able to look over the skyline and NOT see the Towers is beyond description.
A Firefighter on the 9/11 documentary said it best, after fighting their way in (which was almost impossible)
back @ their Station House which looking down their street EVERYDAY THE TOWERS STOOD. That night the shock and Awe was complete, NO TOWERS. he said something like ‘They should be right there!’ Where the hell are they?’
I can relate, and triple that sentiment I WORKED The Towers for years! Changing out ATM drums for the Office worker Bee’s and 10 Zillion Visitors. Where the Phuck did they go?, and to top off this krazy event I was in Albuquerque. My Sister came LOOKING for me @ the Bakery (I was out on a run delivering ‘baguettes’ to a Hotel. Heard something Insane on the truck radio and not having any connection to NYC the locals just said the twin towers were hit and now back to classic rock…What? WTF?
what do you mean ‘hit’? Surreal. I got back to the shop and someone said my Sister was here, she was upset (really?)… and then it went downhill from there for day’s…Years…

I’m blessed to have led a relatively simple & peaceful life. I think this was my first real foray into the concept of SURREAL. I don’t ever want to go there again.

What do y’all make of this? Looked more like a missile strike than a big 'ol plane to me… Awfully fast…

(From Judicial Watch President TomFitton): In order to help address 9/11 conspiracy theories, Judicial Watch sued for and obtained the Pentagon parking camera footage of AA flight #77 hitting the Pentagon.

You do realize that the plane doesn’t have to come in at a flat angle to hit the building.

It came in at a sharper angle, I don’t know exactly what but, but more like a runway approach interrupted at a higher angle like about 45 degrees, rather than like a torpedo.

That plane pic is just a meme. Neither confirming or denying, but, where’s the plane in the video? Top of the building appears to remain mostly intact.

Take a pencil at any angle and stab it at any point of impact from high to low on the surface of say at a Kleenex box. Any angle might achieve the same impact[quote=“Ron43xMOS, post:19, topic:107536, full:true”]

WRT that video, to save space, many videos do not record continuously but, pause recording at intervals, I don’t know if for one or two seconds for that video, but not likely uninterrupted. Now consider the speed of the plane racing to crash. not slowing to land.
