Seems like some courts are going for gun control (anti-2A) rulings.

But it seems like in places like NY and CA those rulings never occurred. The politicians there are just replacing their thrown out laws with new ones that violate the 2A even more.
Politicians are picking and choosing what laws to follow and which to ignore with no consequences for their actions. Plus with the courts shifting back and forth with judges who rule based on political ideology instead of adherence to the law there is no guarantee that a decade from now that we don’t have a SCOTUS that interprets the right to keep and bear as the right to own 1 single shot rifle that we can only bear at the firing range under police supervision. Even the current supposedly pro 2A court is ignoring the shall not be infringed part.
So while I do believe the courts are vital to protecting our rights I don’t have a lot of faith that they will continue to be willing or able to do so.

Thats been my concern the whole time … we “elect” these slimey azz politicians and then they put laws into effect that we never even see . They are like, " btw this is a new law we thought was best". its like, no one voted on this or asked for this. The whole political landscape here in california is out of hand. Smh.

@Mark697 Not true for ALL courts, just some, as I agree with Shamrock’s comment above mine and Paul483’s as well. SCOTUS is so far, in many instances, has shut down lower court decisions on anti 2A rulings as unconstitutional, when these anti 2A rulings brought forth by unconstitutional anti 2A groups SHOULD be shut down at lower courts if some judges would (TRUELY) do their jobs ( 
some judges ARE anti 2A) so that some of these cases don’t have to go all the way up to SCOTUS for it to be shut down! All these ELECTED OFFICIALS take the very same OATH to UPHOLD the CONSTITUTION 
but while taking the OATH, watch behind the back 
YA SOME LIERS crossing their fingers lying through their teeth. 
Some are just backstabbers just to get into office to collect good $$$$$. And some do a good job. 
BUT as we all know it’s a BIG, MESSY BALL OF TWINE out there, and it’s hard to UNRAVEL.

You point out an important aspect of relying on courts to uphold the 2A – namely that it often requires a trip to the US Supreme Court. Government officials who attack 2A rights can draw from a virtually unlimited war chest for their legal expenses on the trip to the US Supreme Court, our taxpayer dollars. In contrast 2A advocates must draw from their own money to fund their trip to the US Supreme Court.
And, any time something is appealed to a court, the outcome is not guaranteed. It often depends on how individual judges (or their law clerks who write the opinions) feel that day.

Nathan 57 the government is going to make everyone who has a firearm illegal and with 25 million FOREIGNERS IN OUR COUNTRY THAT CAN CARRY BECAUSE THEY DON’T OBEY THE LAW AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN LEGALLY IN OUR COUNTRY!! Contrast our Florida governor with the lib left. A shooting isn’t a reason to violate the constitution, according to Mr. DeSantis. God bless him, even though he has no chance of beating Trump, we need more politicians like him.
I saw several headlines basically condemning him for not calling for gun restrictions.
