You Da Man @Blacky!
Were they launching the bullets with a slingshot?
No silly, those are those “Roller” bullets. they start rolling as soon as they leave the end of the barrel. Makes um more accurate and move lethal… ![]()

Finally got back to the rifle range! Been a while for rifle!
Sighting in new optics Trijicon TA31 ACOG green chevron.
BSZ 25 and 300 zero.
Trijicon worth every penny!
Zoom out on your target. ![]()
All targets photographed at close range.
Actual paper size 12 x 18, 1” black tape, all dots 1” @ 25 yards.
Great shooting @Blacky. So that’s what you look like.
You should post that pic on faces of the community.
I think I have actually met him on the BLM before ![]()
It’s funny. You might have met any one of us out there on BLM land. I looked through the faces thread. We all pretty much look alike
Most of us are similar age, gray beards, and friendly looking faces that show some life experiences.
My wife commented once after leaving our LGS (full of similar friendly, experienced faces) that the shooting community are some of the kindest, most helpful people she’s come across.
It’s like being around fighters, a very polite society.
Speak for yourself. lol! My beard isn’t (all) gray yet.
But honestly, those gray beards give me something to aspire to. Maybe I’ll be as good lookin’ as y’all when I get all gray. One can hope!
My guess is I’m younger than the average here, but I’d rather hang out with you guys than people my age anyway.
“He that walketh with wise men sha be wise.” So said Solomon.
I resemble this remark.
My wife gave me the ultimatum, let her get me some “For Men Only” hair dye, or shave it off. She didn’t like being seen with an “old looking” man. I kept my thoughts in my head and chose the latter.
My beard and hair seem to be much more silver in the sink after shave and hair cut than they are on my face and head… and I’m sticking to it!
You still have hair on your head? Must be the water out there ![]()
My hair is gray, but it started turning that way in my late teens. I just accepted it as life mileage.
Its all genetics
Men on my mother’s side were bald by their 30s, where my biological father went to his grave with a full head of black hair!
I will be 48 next week, and while my beard is salt and pepper, I only have a couple strands of silver in a full head of mid back length hair!
