Hmmm… 
You know those laser pointers that display a dollar sign or some such? Why not a pistol laser that paints concentric circles on the target?

The last time I was to the range.
7 yards, EDC 9MM, 3" BARREL.
From bench draw, load magazine, fire 5 shots, 5.8 to 6.5 seconds.
Trying to find a range that allows drawing from the holster, nothing within driving reason around my area.

I stuck with handguns. Not recent.
7 yards from bench rapid fire. Kimber Ultra Raptor in .45 3”bbl
7.5 yards from bench. Kimber TLE/RL in .45 4.25” bbl
Strong hand only.
