I’ve used a cheap tactical backpack from academy for years now. I have way too much crap in it: too much room but really works
Savior makes a great assortment of bags. Best advice is don’t get black (cause you will end up wasting a lot of time looking for things in it). Grey or FDE work quite well.
I saw this one online. It looks very good. Question: Is it heavy?
Didnt think of that. Thx for the advice.
Don’t overlook camera bags; they make terrific range bags, too.
Most have padded, Velcroed separators, that protect your precious cargo, while some varieties have detachable “saddles” to permit more or less gear to make its way to the range.
And they’re sometimes less expensive.
My wife said same.
Your wife is smart!
Very creative thinking. Thx.
Nobody questions even in winter
But ice fishing is a thing up here
Fits everything for the range for a couple of pistols
Midway USA
It’s been a long time but still say this one can’t be beat. JMO
I use the one USCCA sells. It’s by far the best one I’ve ever had. Very high quality, lots of pockets and magazine slots. Highly recommend it.
@Gary406 , I have the exact bag.
Thx. Will take another look.
It is. But only because of the ammo and guns I put in it. Bag is nice.
Best Regards,

I’ve been using the same backpack for about 25 years. It is a school backpack with three layers. I’ll slide a pistol case in one, eyes/ears, targets, multi-tool, etc. in another, and ammo in the third.
This worked well as a supplement to a rifle case, as it keeps the accessories on your back instead of taking another hand.
