Absolutely. And my reference to the line from the Aliens movie was half humor, half serious. Agree 100% with your follow-up.
OK, I hope you’re not calling all us President Trump supporters idiot’s. And there is evidence that the riots were started by ANTIFA acting like supporters of the president. I warned a long time ago about false flag attacks.
And yes a lot of us are very angry with all the cheating that’s gone on during this election and with the Supreme Court refusing cases because “i don’t want to be responsible for riots” , well guess what buttercup, it might very well start riots because we are sick of the 2 tier justice system.
Hello Brian,
No, I am not referring to all pro-Trump citizens as idiots. Just the ones who were stupid enough to believe their actions would not create more harm than good. For the record, I supported Trump too with my wallet and vote, and can’t believe the Democrats and media managed to steal this election. They cheated,
These people are cold and calculating. We need to use our heads if we’re going to win this battle.
That’s a great standard, @David38.
And for everyone, please remember to use your head about anything you post online as well. Everything you say online can be used against you if you ever have to legally defend your physical self-defense actions - that includes texts, private message functions, emails and social media.
I think it is always prudent to train with any weapon you have the opportunity to shoot. Never know if the weapon you use to defend yourself isnt going to be one you pick up off the floor or is owned by someone else.
I think your idea about training with different weapons because the .gov is going to outlaw them is misguided. As the saying goes, if you think you have to hide or bury them, it time to use them.
Our Country is experiencing a difficult time where laws are unconstitutional and selectively enforced. Courts have become political. I pray it never becomes necessary, but the second amendment is not about hunting. It is about maintaining our Republic. It is deeply wounded at the moment.
I, as long as many other do train with other platforms. My comment was directed at those that don’t. I never got in the AR bandwagon. Just not my style. Not that I think it’s a bad platform, it’s just not what I enjoy. That doesn’t mean I’m not familiar with them either. It’s kind of the Quigley Down Under scenario. “Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn’t know how to use it.”
i totally agree, protest yes! once you turn to anykind of violence you are now a domestic terrorist!
You are right, it is up to us to act like responsible gun owners. We can not afford to be dragged into a bunch of garbage, we already have enough to worry about as responsible armed citizens. And, just a reminder if you do not like the politicians that represent you, then you can always vote them out in the next election. So please do not fall into the trap of an revolution is coming, it is just talk.
Lest we forget Detective Mark Fuhrman and the OJ Simpson case. There was an insurmountable amount of evidence to convict OJ. The defense chose a different strategy that worked; character assassination. Unfortunately, it still works, and in some ways, is destroying our judicial system.
Stay Safe, Stay Strong, and Stay Adept.
So how do you describe what happened to Portland, Seattle, Bellingham and Denver the last two days? Destroying businesses, Banners by Antifa saying they are looking for revenge, the Mayor of Bellingham having to flee City Hall as protesters break in? It is beginning to look like someone is pushing to something that looks like revolution.
I may not be looking for one but it seems as if there are forces moving that way.
I have my opinion, and will keep it to myself.
I’ll go out on a limb here. That trial was total BS. Didn’t it take over a year?
OJ got off because California feared a race riot because of all the crap in their past.
Everyone feared what a conviction would create. OJ was guilty as hell, and everyone knew it.
Robert 15 wrote, that it is looking like a revolution, but it is not. Most people are too afraid to fire the first shot so to speak, so they will try entice others to do so for them. And, that is where we as responsible gun owners come in, do not let the wild mob fool you with their talk. It just takes one spark to light a big fire, we as gun owners should not be fooled to be that spark. In closing I would like to thank Johnnyq60 for welcoming me into the community. May GOD Bless us all with wisdom, knowledge and skills to protect us all in case we find ourselves in a gunfight.
Thanks Jim. Appreciate your wisdom not only on the large macro or societal level of group psychology; But even in individual levels of us thinking about learning the difference of knowing when or when not to use our weapon, from a legal and moral standpoint. All making us responsible 2A supporters, where we have common bond and come together.
