An interesting take on the motivating factors which lead to the Second Amendment. When delving into the creation of the Constitution I am often amazed at the multi-faceted layers of impetus and meaning to be found.

This is one of the most frustrating and mind blowing issues with gun control. The politicians and wealthy activists demanding gun control don’t want gun control for themselves or their private security because they believe their life is more important than yours.

The same argument can be made about felons. I wholeheartedly believe that non-violent felons, after they have paid their debt to society, deserve to have their gun rights restored. They should be able to protect themselves, their family, and their property just like anyone else.

I’m with @Seethe on this one.

Once the former special agent began implying class, he lost me.

Contrary to his belief ill throw in the 14th Amendment which gives rights to any individual no matter of race, economic status, or any other discriminating factor.
