No guns allowed businesses

Nope. It’s a free country and I’ll carry a weapon where I go.
Of course I don’t carry at Court Houses, schools, etc… that is illegal and a felony. I only carry where the worst case scenario is a misdemeanor.

I agree. How can we claim a moral high ground, demanding our 2A rights while ignoring the rights of the property or business owner to regulate what they own?

It is probably listed 100 x that check your state laws, USCCA has all that information to give to you for FREE. ALL states are covered and you can find your updated laws for your home state.

Remember the important area such as Federal, State, Your county and city laws. POSTED, LEGALLY, PROPERTIES!

Those signs inside banks and business, can be listed in your state laws, but it listed here in Florida, Not Inforced… Please use your best judgements on that and tell no one that you are Concealing a firearm.

It is a free country, with the rule of law and equal rights. The business owner has equal rights to you, and it is their business.

I take your comment to be declaring you disrespect the rights of others.

By the way, misdemeanors add up and a long record of them is not good.

So you’ll demand your 2A rights at the expense and contestation of the rights of the business owner to regulate what he owns? Rights for me, but not for thee?

I have the 2nd Amendment. They are trying to infringe on MY rights. That is being disrespectful to ME
I know Texas law well… I already replied with what the law is here. It’s a $200 misdemeanor and doesn’t add up against my LTC status. It’s like a speeding ticket. My life is worth more than $200. If I melt some snowflakes perhaps they should vote to repeal my rights and change the US Constitution.
You are not going to win me over. Ever.

Yep… I am glad someone finally understands!

Thank you for stating clearly that you do not respect or care about the rights of others.

It is sad. The Constitution guarantees us all EQUAL rights, yet you think your rights are superior.

I do not have to win you and am not trying. I am simply pointing out the facts. If a business or any property owner states they do not want firearms on their property, you need to respect that. The same as if they say they do not want you posting signs that say things they disagree with or any other right.

In public, you have the right, on property that it is allowed, you have the right, but your rights END when they meet the rights of others. That is basic civics, basic rights. That is what equal rights is, we all have rights, and one person’s right to swing their fist, ends just before impacting your jaw and if they impact your jaw, YOUR rights have been infringed.

Your view may cause more harm to the firearms community, but you are free to be disrespectful of the rights of others.

Good Bye!

What is the expense to a business that I carry a weapon. Maybe I will end up saving their life. My Constitutional Rights are greater than there ignorance.

In many business; Restaurants, Stores, Banks, Personal Property, Churches, and Beware of Churches with Schools.

You can be ask to store your fiream off their property and never wear it again on that piece of property or you can be asked to LEAVE, do not come back, and you can be talked to the police, because they called them. Not Inforced ! But, that FEDERAL PROPERTY ??? PLEASE DO NOT CARRY / CARRY.

No they’re not. They are simply asking you to take your business elsewhere. You don’t necessarily have a right to shop there. Continue to carry, but respect their rights as well.

Yes, it does appear he is the worst type of firearm owner.

I do not wish for you to be in jail and charged with a federal charge. Then you loose your permit and rights until cleared of charges, if you can. I care.

I did not write those laws !

So the rights of others trump ours?? That doesn’t sound “equal”. They have the right to express their opinion while we carry. First and second hand in hand.

I thought that murderers, rapists and the like? I don’t think @TexasEskimo is any of those… unless this is a gateway carry…

Everyone has the option to do as they wish. To some the consequences of carrying in a prohibited facility (that doesn’t result in felonies) are clearly outweighed by the need to carry. There are several here that would and will carry in a gun free zone…why is that? Maybe because criminals with guns don’t care about gun free zones, or 30.06 signs for that matter… but I don’t see anyone accosted for that in any other threads to this degree…

You only quoted part of what I said. The “expense” to them is not monetary but the denial of their right to conduct the business they own within their own parameters. Be free to disagree with me, but your view seems very condescending and disrespectful to the rights of others. I’m not saying I agree they should prohibit CC on their premises. Just that absence laws to the contrary, they have rights that should be respected also. I think Utah is a very pro gun state. When schools said no concealed carry, the legislature fixed it and CC is permitted on school property. That also allows teachers that want to carry. If you don’t want to have businesses with rights, fight to have the laws changed.

How can that be when I conceal carry. They have ZERO clue that I carry at all.

No, they are equal. They can not deny you your right to carry on your property or in public (unless you are in one of the Democrat utopias with unconstitutional gun control laws), but in their business, it is their rights and their rules.

Just as on your property, in your home, your rights and your rules.

That is how equal rights work. Your right to speech ends at my property line, if I dislike what you say, or disagree with it, I can deny your right to speak on my property, but once you are back on public property, you are free to exercise your right to speech again.

So, do you want your rights respected? Do you want your property respected? What if someone decided to build a concrete sign on your property, saying something you completely disagree with, you would allow it? After all, your rights do not trump theirs.

Only to a certain extent. We have a rule of law, we have societal rules, and we have the Constitution. If we do away with those and simply do as we wish, we have anarchy and chaos.

Perhaps because they are self centered and think the universe revolves around them… or perhaps they simply think they can act superior and demand they be allowed to do as they want, while denying others their rights.
The issue is in a business, in or on the property of others.

Indeed, criminals do not pay attention to the laws. And yes, those people are criticized and condemned for their actions.

That is why, we all are FREE to CHOOSE. If a business has declared it to be gun free, you are FREE to CHOOSE. To choose to secure your firearm and NOT carry inside the business, or inside of another person’s property, or carry your firearm and go to another business that is more firearm friendly.

How come when I first posted in this thread yesterday I got a bunch of likes for saying what I just said (again)?
