Very neat, and the two-year shelf life is fantastic.

Is it trialed in real Word or still in research stage?
I’m wondering how long it will stuck in FDA approval process.

From this article:

“This next-generation hemostatic agent is still very much in the research and development stage, but testing shows it is very promising. Before it can be trialled in the real world, it still needs to undergo clinical trials and needs regulatory approval.”

That means this one :backhand_index_pointing_down: will be still in use by me as a first choice for next few years.

Correct!

Anything over a 6 month shelf life is incredible.

Calm down, we’ll all be dead before it’s approved for use in the US.

crush an aspirin into the cut then cover with corn starch then place a compression pad on wound. Aspirin has blood clotting agents and corn starch will also work as a clotting agent too.

I am not a doctor, but I did play one the other night .:stethoscope:

What?

So… the whole medical World was wrong for ages? So far aspirin acted as an antiplatelet agent and a blood thinner that helped prevent blood clots. When did it change?

I take that bad advice back. SORRY!

I read that somewhere, but I apparently misread it. I also found out that cornstarch will work but an infection can accrue, and it is not advised.

I am not a doctor, obviously, but I did play one the other night!

Do you want some more bad advice?

Peeing on pepper spray helps mitigate its effects!

Make sure all the anti ICE protesters get that message please.

What happens if this gets into the bloodstream?

Say if it’s used on a sucking chest wound, or traumatic amputation?

What about inhalation hazard?

I’m afraid to ask for any culinary advice now :joy:
