Recently a new gun store opened close to me in Kenosha, Wisconsin with the name Mission 94. I went there yesterday, it’s a brand new building with the latest equipment, no expense spared. Staff seemed friendly and did not badger me when I told them I was only looking. The guns I looked at seemed to priced on the high side. It has an indoor range, one at 25 yards and one at 50 yards. They had some interesting WWII guns on display such as a Thompson machine gun. The owner is Lt.Colonel (U.S. Army, Ret.) Jennifer Pritzker who is a cousin of our infamous Governor in Illinois. I do not know her political views but she has a share of the Pritzker money. For these two reasons I will not buy there. It is also rumored she built it in Wisconsin to avoid Illinois taxes.
Id also be hesitant of anybody with prizker name as owner. Also if prices are on the higher end, id just use my tried and true LGS and if need be, have them order what i want.
Id rather support a small shop trying to scratch out a living than someone who is already wealthy.

I’d contact the most conservative newspaper in the state, OAN and Fox News and ask why the governor’s sister is opening gun stores in another state geared to bypassing your state laws like mag capacity limitations and such. Seems like an investigative piece that just writes itself 
I’m confused…
She’s the cousin of another state’s governor, do we know that she doesn’t live in Wisconsin? Or, alternately, that there isn’t another legitimate reason for the shop’s location? I have lots of cousins, none of whom reside in the same state as me, or even to each other.
I’m also uncertain as to how we established that she has access to her cousin’s wealth. An uncle of mine was (retired) the VP of a very large international company, I have no fruit from his labor.
Not saying that the store owner isn’t running a business in another state for questionable reason, I’m just unsure how we made that connection. Further, whether they have a share in the extended family’s wealth, or are otherwise well off, or not seems irrelevant. Why would the potential wealth of a business owner be an automatic shun?
I’m not trying to start a debate, just wondering. Other than the family connection and the possibility that they’re wealthy, it sounds like the shop and the the staff were positive.
She is a cousin, not a sister. I give her credit that she served our country, Perhaps she disagrees with her cousin and opened up the store to poke him in the eye. I will not spend money there until I find out more.

Her being trans does not bother me so long she does not support men in women’s sports-men/boys in women’s/girls washrooms-any affirming care(drugs, surgery) before 18 years old. Pritzker was a Republican[30] and major donor to candidates and organizations such as the National Rifle Association of America, John McCain, and Mitt Romney.[31][32] However, as of 2019, she was reevaluating her support, citing the Trump administration’s transgender military ban and other anti-LGBTQ policies: “When the GOP asks me to deliver six- or seven-figure contributions for the 2020 elections, my first response will be: why should I contribute to my own destruction?”[7][33]
In August 2020, Pritzker donated $2,000 to the presidential campaign of Joe Biden.[34]
In October 2020, Pritzker donated $100,000 to the Lincoln Project, led by Republican strategists, some of whom endorsed Joe Biden to prevent the re-election of Donald Trump.[35]
During the third quarter of 2020, Pritzker was recognized as a member of the Chairman’s Circle, signifying a $25,000 contribution to the Libertarian Party.[36]
In 2016, through her Foundation, Pritzker gave a $2 million donation to create the world’s first endowed academic chair of transgender studies, at the University of Victoria in British Columbia; Aaron Devor was chosen as the inaugural chair.[26]
