My 1965 Mustang Convertible is live on Bring-A-Trailer

My 1985 4Runner, not for sale,… my 1990 Toyota dolphin RV, not for sale.

Paid $525 for my 85,…. Literally drove it for a week before I had someone approach me at the grocery store and offer 3k for it!

Had 3 offers on my dolphin in just a few months after getting it too…..

They weren’t nearly as good though, I’m $11.5k into it and the best offer was only $15k

Couldn’t convince them that the empty cylinders were “harmonic balancers”?

What are you using for fuel?

If the question is directed at me, then it is premium unleaded. The valves and seats in the heads were replaced for unleaded fuel years ago.

With a bit more work, you could have doubled or tripled that sales price, but that’s not bad.

Dad and I cleaned up Mom’s 64-1/2 Mustang convertible with the 260 V-8 auto and got $6,500 in the early '80s.

I’m not so sure @Larry252. Here’s a recent sale on similar with a lot more work:

1965 Ford Mustang Convertible A-Code 289 for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $35,500 on January 15, 2026 (Lot #226,539) | Bring a Trailer

Some on Classic Cars and Autotrader went up to $54.9k, while others were from $18k on up. I’m surprised they’re so low. Maybe all the old fookers who actually kept them are ready for heaven and checking out with cash in the bank? Who knows. You sure got more than you put into it. LOL Nice.
