Magazine max for ccw in california

Let me see if I have this right. A legal CCW holder is limited to how large their magazines are, but gang members, street thugs, general miscreants, and other people who blatantly ignore regulations, are tacitly allowed to break the law?

Hmmmmm.

Politicians are getting sleazier by the day.

Ive had to work with quite a few, where I wonder how they passed. The Barbri study guides and flash card sets come in handy for many. Some, I think simply clerked for the right attornies or judge and were given a little special nudge. Now, with the digital format and remote exam option its much harder to cheat as everything is observed in real time by the exam proctors, where as before you would have 10 to 20 pacing around the exam hall. New system due to exams during COVID. Cheers!

Wow, 6 thats great! Here in Sacramento County we are restricted to 3. Can carry 2 at a time without a magazine limit. The one limitation is that no grandfathered hi-cap mags are allowed, even if only loaded with 10 cartridges. Same mag provision for Exposed Carry security guards, with the exception of Federal Infrastructure PSOs’, they can carry the 15 round mags if the contract /task order / exhibit requires it. Otherwise, its 10 across the baord. Now that I think about it, U.S. Marshall’s Service Court Security Officers were not limited, yet it has been a while since I have worked with them. Be safe, everyone!

Lux: CA has a state preemption law, so individual cities cannot pass laws more stringent than the state law. Even in the absence of a state law covering the specific topic a city cannot pass a law. If Sacramento County or city actually has such a law on the books you should contact CRPA which has an office in Schitzomento to file a lawsuit declaring such a law null and void. CRPA is California Rifle and Pistol Association or GOC which is Gunowners of California also with an office in Schitzomento. California tried to do away with the law regarding awarding plaintiffs’ attorney fees when the government is compelled to follow its own laws so they will happily undertake to sue Schitzomento for compliance with state law but too many other rights groups including tree huggers (they do occasionally perform a useful task) objected and it got nowhere. It was aimed at gun organization but would cover all the other NGO organizations whose primary occupation is suing the government.
