I’m sure all of you have asked yourself as much as I have - "What the fu*k is wrong with the ATF?
To clarify, I bought 2 revolvers and one long gun at a MICHIGAN auction house/FFL today.
They sent me home with the long gun but because I’m an Indiana resident they have to ship handguns to an INDIANA FFL so I can fill out the same paperwork in Indiana that I just filled out in Michigan.
But now add an additional $80 to the transaction for shipping and FFL fees
Guys like us can’t say “Just shoot me” at least out loud.
This is my issue with gun control as a whole. It’s always about alleged safety. If it was really and truly about safety. Then we would enforce existing laws that are on the books. We would find the $🤑 to train and arm those who would be willing to be defenders at every school in the U.S.
All of the things that Gun Control advocates want, already exist. What they really want to do is to make it as burdensome as possible to own a gun. To make the relative cost/burden of gun ownership as high as possible.

I think Congressman Matt Gaetz is a scum bag - but I agree with the bill just floated to the floor to ban the ATF
You want to know how I know that the media hue and cry in the culture wars is fake? When Florida passed their “Don’t Say Gay” bill and Disney, the media, and the progressive left all pounced on DeSantis. If the content of the bill was the problem. Then everyone would be even more outraged that 1 State to the West, Alabama, has the identical law except it’s even more drastic in Alabama, since in Alabama it goes up to the 5th grade. So that tells you it’s not the content that is bad it’s the eyes that can be put on the political theatre.
It’s the same in the culture war on firearms. They don’t care, it’s only the amount of control and the eyes that are driven to the theatre of “virtue signaling”. There are ways to achieve the goals of “gun violence” (not my word for it) that these hypocrites want. They just won’t do it.
