Login Issues on My Cell Phone

This issue just started 30 minutes ago. I have been logging into the community regularly using my cell phone and internet browser DuckDuckGo. A few minutes ago I received the message below and called the USCCA. They are forwarding my issue to their IT department. First thought is it maybe because I am trying to log in with DuckDuckGo… but I have been doing that for about a year now. I just logged in via my PC and Google Chrome.
Not sure if anyone else is having a similar issue…

Have, (knock wood) not had an issue. However some people have had some cyber situations. I hope this is not the case in our community. It could just be a server issue… hopefully nothing sinister!

I have no problems using my cell phone to access other sites and apps. It’s only when I try and login to this site. No problem with my PC though.

Have you tried other browser on your phone?
I’ve just checked 3 browsers on mine - all good.

Ask @Dawn why she does not like you anymore…

What did you do, @TexasEskimo?? I look the other way for a few hours and you get the system to boot you out???

I’ve sent you a PM and I’ll email you too to see what you broke. :stuck_out_tongue:

@TexasEskimo @Dawn

I believe DuckDuckGo is a web browser that includes built-in proxy capabilities… I don’t remember for sure though. Is that true?
And if so, does it randomly pick from a pool of proxy servers, or does it go with a standard DuckDuckGo server?

Some web sites block common proxies, and some proxies block sites (like porn or gun-related sites) …

Also, if you are on public wifi, that often also blocks such web pages. Either by domain OR by frequent words used on the page…

EDIT: Your screenshot seems to show that USCCA’s instance of Discourse forum software has blocked your access … and the message seems like it’s this case: “some web sites block common proxies” …
Try not using a proxy, or use a different proxy if you must.

@Dawn Same error message. I can log into every site with the exception of this one. I am logged in now using my PC. Gremlins?

That is so strange, we haven’t changed anything on our end either. I cannot imagine why you’re getting that issue. I’ve asked our tech gurus to look at it for us. We’ll see what they have to say.

I’m getting the exact same screen as TexasEskimo for the last 2 days. I can connect no problem on work computer but, can not log in at home. I have had no issues from home prior.
Both PCs use IE browser.

I’ve installed DuckDuckGo browser on my Android to check if that’s the problem.
Nope. All works perfectly, in Community case… However the way it works is not what I would like.
I think @TexasEskimo has to look at local phone issue.

Are you all on WIFI or cellular data when you’re trying to log in? If it’s WIFI maybe there’s a limit on what you can login to on WIFI.

I know when I’m at a dr’s office on WIFI I cannot get to anything USCCA.

Both works. AT&T LTE and wifi. Home wifi, Starbucks wifi and public wifi at few places in Chicago.
I don’t think it’s USCCA’S issue…

@Dawn I am using my home wifi as usual. I can log in on my laptop PC but not my cell phone still. This issue is only with the USCCA servers, all other sites and apps… including another forum I belong to, that uses the exact same software as this community, work as usual. The other day I logged into the site on my home wifi with my phone and no problems. I logged out, then an hour later when I went to the site to login again I got the error message. I called the USCCA and then started this thread. Then I made a pizza… as I recall, stuffed cheese crust with pepperoni on top.
I have made ZERO changes to my wifi, cell phone, or PC in months. So the problem is with the USCCA servers. There is no other possibility (I am pretty sure no other. lol)
