Another reminder, Kids are everywhere, they get into everything. Secure your firearm when the grand babies come over…
As parents we can’t be everywhere. My son was taught at a young age about guns, but that doesn’t preclude what could happen when he and his friends or cousins are over and not under constant supervision. When that time came I bought a full size safe to store not only firearms but valuables. Peace of mind was invaluable as far as I was concerned. That was over 35 years ago, but, in my opinion only, was well worth the expense.
We were taught at a young age too. That is why my brother put sucker sticks in the BB gun instead of BB’s, but they still hurt. He also used coffee grounds but that was a buzz kill too! Kids will be kids, curious, adventurous, pee brain knuckleheads.
Unfortunately “Parenting 101” and “Basic Firearm Safety 101” are too hard to learn for certain people…
The Secret Service apparently didn’t get the Memo’s either Brother
“You’re Supposed to SHOOT the Threat with the gun BEFORE he shoots!” dumbasses!
