Does the red cap make it Airsoft?

Somehow I don’t think my local airsoft field will let me play with that one!

I have airsoft questions! Is there an airsoft thread? I’ve got a leaker!

So I’m learning that due to how cheap the rough rider is… people are getting weird with the modifications…

Finally got out to shoot the RXM with the holosun. I didnt go for accuracy, just reliability.

Brought the 2 factory mags plus 4 mags from my G17. 2 of the g17 mags were factory glocks and 2 were magpul mags.

1 FTF. Ejected the round and then it ran flawlessly.
I was doing slow fire, double taps and rapid fire.

Now I do gotta adjust the red dot but I’ll do that when the weather is better. Brass on ejection basically went straight up and down.

I also had my kimber micro 9 out. Had a problem with FTF with the mags. Before the rounds kind of got hung up in the mags.

I got 6 8 rounders for it and today it ran perfect. Have to chase the brass on that one.

I chambered that one FTF round in the kimber. Nothing but a prominent pin strike. Bad round.

Ammo through both was fenix 115 gr practice ammo.

Now I gotta get out with both with more roundsand then dial in the sights

The RXM is actually a really nice gun for $400. Trigger is better than I thought and accurate, as long as i do my part. Above target was at roughly 15 yards

Not concealable , but was given an early birthday present, he thought he was giving me a 20ga but been so long he didn’t realize it was a 12ga. Apparently never fired.

A Luger (Steoger/ATA) 12 Gauge 3” shotgun, not sure of the specifics on it, just that he may have had it for 20+ years.

Ok ok… last one for a while, gotta slow down.

First rifle, vintage 1968 Ruger 10/22 with the solid American Walnut Stock. Cleaned up the bolt assembly and already ordered a new firing pin and ejector since the one inside is hitting a lil light and seems worn down. Gonna look into the best way to restore the surface of the stock somewhat.

I used to say that also.

The vintage stocks have soo much better grain in them vs the modern stocks!

Which is part of the reason I picked up a red/grey laminated 10/22 vs the solid wood.

The solid wood ones are my kids guns.

Seems that the modern ones are more likely birch (if you can find wood stocks) otherwise seems to be synthetic materials.

Also, seems like there’s a lot more metal in my vintage 10/22 than I’m seeing in the modern ones I was originally shopping around for.

Discovered the CZ Shadow 2 Compact after I had all my handgun needs filled, so I couldn’t justify the cost. Then the range I go to has a slightly used one with a weapon light and extra mags, and I couldn’t resist. It’s a little difficult to clean but man, can I hold groups with it. Only regret is now I don’t have funds for the Winchester Model 70 7mm Rem. Mag. I wanted.
